When I upgraded to FF 3 and realized KewordSelection didn't work for it, I died a little inside.

Browsing hasn't been the same ever since, and I still want to highlight text and click my keyword bookmarks to search out of habit I used it so much.

Still new firefox users can use this. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

If you have FF3 do not worry use "Extesions.checkcompatibility" configuration for firefox

Unfortunately we will see Yet Another Cool Search Toolbar :( But why really good extensions are not developed any more. This extension is #1!

I can't believe that no one else (apparently) understands the power of this extension and hasn't done a similar one for FF3.

I will be staying with FF2 because of this.

Don't people realise that with this extension you just have to select some text and click on an icon to get the text searched for on the icon website? So powerul! Such a brilliant extension!

This should be built in to FF 3 and all subsequent versions.

Any news? Any similar extension that complies with FF3? I can't upgrade FF from 2 to 3 because of this extension.

Great, but broken in FF3. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

A wonderful extension. Much more useful than the search box: it's easier to manage bookmarks, they require fewer clicks to use, and they give you more control over whether they open in a new tab or the same tab. Sadly it doesn't work with Firefox 3, and it doesn't seem to be supported anymore. I've discussed fixing it on the mozillazine forums here:

This is #1 among my extensions. Simply by making bookmarks with %s as search term I create as many needed "extensions" as I need. Search Google, WhoIs, Backwards, Open link, see number of indexed pages, translate word - Everything with just one click! I combined it with Smart Bookmarks Bar and now have a lot of icons on my Bookmarks Toolbar that save space and actually are not bookmarks but real tools.

Please make it compatible with FireFox 3.0, because I can't upgrade just because of this must have extension
