Not so good Rated 2 out of 5 stars

It doesn't have even an option to add an icon, if desired. All adjustment have to be done through the Menu Bar, which is cumbersome. Not even a context menu option.

One thing is trying to avoid unnecessary things, another is to make an add-on functionality so annoying to use that it's better to skip it altogether.

works perfect on FF 43 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works perfectly here, especially since Settings Sanity stopped working.

Worthless Rated 1 out of 5 stars

No way to toggle JavaScript on or off.
The funny part is that the developer wants you to make a $5 donation for this totally worthless add-on.

Does not work Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This addon does not work at all with Firefox version 34.0. There does not appear any menu item "Just Disable Javascript" or similar at the menu extras.

Das Addon funktioniert nicht mit Versionen 34.0. Warum auch immer, auf jeden Fall erscheinen im Menü Extras keine zusätzlichen ein-/ausschalt Optionen.

Doesn't have night mode or disable multimedia or css, Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Doesn't have night mode or disable multimedia or disable css, only Javascript and Images. I didn't want to post a review but I'm forced to because there's no place to send bug reports or questions.

FF 28
Win 7

Night mode, CSS blocker and media blocker are implemented in version 1.2, available here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/just-disable-stuff/versions/ . Funny story - Mozilla didn't accept it because I didn't want to make JDS widget, to avoid mess in menus/bars. But looks like I'll have to make some mess eventually - one user already complained about it. If You're looking for night mode, I extracted it into distinct addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/the-night-owl/

Definitely useful and easy, but indeed an icon would do better the job than just the tools menu option.
Five stars anyway.

Great add-on, but no check icons appearing in the menu in Linux Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Was wondering if it was normal I got no check icon whenever one of the options is enabled. As of now the Just disable Images for instance appears the same whether or not it is enabled (at least here on Linux, with the latest Firefox).

Otherwise it works nicely. Thanks

Night mode is awesome. You have to go to this address to download the last version: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/just-disable-stuff/versions/?page=1#version-1.2

I just wish there was a keyboard shortcut or at least an icon to easily enable and disable it!

Needs update for Firefox 33+ Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Is it a possibility to add a button in in Firefox 33, the menu from where it should be accessed is hidden by default. The only way to access this extension is by pressing alt access it through the menu.

It seems like I can only install version 1.1 from the firefox add-on menu. I really wanted this app for the night mode, but it is nowhere to be found. Can you make sure to upload the version with night mode? You seem to be the only one who has developed a night mode add on

Version 1.2 is currently in review, but You can download it from here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/just-disable-stuff/versions/?page=1#version-1.2

A few other features Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Was wondering if these two items could be added. Lately, more websites want to run automatic ads using these formats, and a lot of users wouldn't know how to find them in the about:config settings:

media.ogg.enabled
media.webm.enabled

Thanks for the current version of the add-on, which is nice simple and useful.

Thank You for suggestion. I added it under "Just Disable Multimedia" in version 1.2. Beside ogg and webm, it additionally disables Flash plugin if it's present.

New feature Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Please just disable CSS !

Here You go! Added in 1.2.
