No Longer Works For Me Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It was a great addon while it lasted but no longer works for me in FF 3.6 (in Vista and Linux). I switched to the Adblock Element Hiding Helper and it works well obscuring the left tab. However, every once in awhile something happens to it and the element hiding has to be redone (each time brings up a different filter), so I'm thinking Google tries to overcome all filters for this ^%&*(&* left tab by messing with scripts. If so, they're jerks.

Yup, G-LS is now the ticket! Are the Google people reading our site and every change we make, they go in and block it? Just asking.

Oh, No, Not Again! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

After I let these fools give me an "update" from FF 3.6 to FF 4.0 the browser crashed in both Vista and PCLinuxOS and had to be restored to 3.6.17. But the igoogle tab remover never would work again. Now this Adblock filter using G-BT made it right. I immediately made a system restore point in hopes it might work if all goes south again. Thanks, again, for saving our collective sanity.

Stopped again! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Me, too. Stopped again after a few days. I'm back to one simple line saved in the Stylish "Write New Style" setup box:

That has it going again in my Windows Vista, FF 3.5.18. I'll try later to see if the iGoogle Remover Tab is back working as the last post stated. %$(@II Google!

I, too, made this work again using the Stylish addon. Downloaded Stylist, click Tools, Addons, Stylish, choose Options, Write New Style, choose a name (igooglefix), Save. Then click on the new (igooglefix) name, Edit, Insert: #col1_contents{display:none}, click Insert arrow, choose HTML namespace as default, save again to be sure. The left tab is now removed for me but for how long who knows?

Yup, as of 4/1/11 I've lost this addon in both Windows Vista and Linux PCLOS. Just suddenly wasn't there and can't restore thru igoogle either.
