Works great for me. I'm from Germany, and I'm able to watch the WWE Network and YouTube videos that are blocked here in Germany.

Hola finally cough up my refund Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Well - after offering to talk to me about a refund everything went quiet Hola's end and I heard no more. However, with a bit more prodding, Hola finally repaid my subscription of $45 for premium-level services. So all credit to them, even if it took some effort on my part.

My advice to any dissatisfied premium customer is to complain like mad to the help-premium email address and if nothing gets done, post here and on social media like Facebook.

If you are an unhappy FREE user, then tough luck. You get what you pay for. Try another VPN supplier. But if you have paid for the service you have a right to get decent customer support.

not working in Germany & Poland ... don't know is it working at all - waste of time

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I have changed countries and websites multiple times over 2 days, but any video I watch freezes for several seconds about every 6 seconds. I even got a 30 minute free "premium trial", and when I switched to that the video froze for several seconds about every 10 seconds. Still unwatchable. I don't know what this is supposed to actually accomplish but I've wasted enough time. Let me know when this service actually works. I downloaded on Feb 7, 2014.

Stopped working Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Was great, appears not to be working (an unblocker which doesn't unblock netflix or cbs) and will be removed shortly.

as of Jan 8th 2014 - no longer works Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This was an awesome addon and working wonderfully until a few days ago. I'm in the US and use it to visit UK-based sites. It no longer works. I have tried everything. Talked to other Hola users and they are having the same UK issues connecting. Hopefully they fix it but until then I'm disabling it and using a different VPN

It doesn't work for Canadian websites for me, which was my whole reason for getting it. I'm in the US.

Not what I downloaded Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I have been using Hola for a long time, and the recent update to add all of the adds is not only annoying but it BREAKS some websites I visit. It blocks all access to them until their stupid add can pop up, but nine times out of ten, the sites refuse to allow the ad to pop up and hola continues to block the site, causing websites I use to time out. The only way I can circumvent this is to turn OFF Hola, THEN load my page. This has happened with Huffington post, AOL, Youtube, and a few random others. If it was a simple add to click and go away, sure, whatever. But the re-routing software for these adds that wont let your page load until you look at their crudy junk has made my net usage a pain in the rump and if it continues, Ill move on to a different way to get around my region restrictions.

And dont come to me preaching about "Were supported by adds" Bullhonkey. Fine, you're supported by adds. But doing so with such cruddy scripting that causes areas of my net to break because of your obsession with making me look at some stupid add that Im going to ignore and click past anyway is NOT a way to make me love or want to support your software.

Had the problem like the post below.
Turned out that NoScript add-on blocked the site(hola site) from downloading the upgrade.

I was excited when I came across this little addon. "finally all the shows I can't watch in this country" but after adding it to firefox I immediatly came across a problem.

So I click "add to firefox" and I go through the process of installing it. After going through all that, I get the little icon in the top right of my browser. However it was greyed out so when I clicked it, it took me to a page that told me I needed to update the addon. Thinking it odd that Mozilla not download a fully updated addon, I decide to just roll with it and click the upgrade button. However it then takes me to a blank page that tells me of some kind of network server successfully installing. Although nothing happens, and this is a process that is never ending.

Even from the website of the addon does this happen. I have found nothing around the web that talks about fixing this problem or anyone else having this problem. I dunno why this is happening but as such this is a very poor addon, simply because its not working.

Hi CableZ -- Please go to add-ons, remove Hola, and re-install again from our site. If it doesn't work for you pls write to us at help@hola.org and we'll check your configuration. Meanwhile you can also install Hola on Chrome. Let us know how it goes.

UPDATE: We believe the problem was a server that was down for a few minutes yesterday. Please try again and let us know how it goes.

Amazing Extension Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I honestly don't understand how Hola can be rated with anything lower than 4 stars. Perhaps there were some issues with the earlier versions, but as far as I am concerned, Hola rocks! It is easy to use and extremely useful if you're staying outside the U.S.

There must be a flaw, but thus far, I am unable to find one.
5 Stars!

Well, that was quite a journey! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Liking this addon as much as I do, I could not accept that the authors would allow their monetising to bring them down.I am now using v1.2.74, which I found on Hola's website that appears to be superfish free. Please correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the authors have seen the light. Having said that, I still have updating OFF... Lots more unblocking scripts and options too! Oh, and you can now move the icon. Fine if moved to menu bar BUT it reverts on restart if moved to the add-on bar. Getting there guys, thank you, keep at it, I'm still here...

Terrible piece of spyware!

Latest version displays ads all over normal, nonblocked pages. No warning, no nothing. Then, if you want to see how much an actual spy/adware free account costst they FIRST want your facebook or email adress.

Smells like data en email harvesting for marketing purposes.

Hola is ad-sponsored

Hi Frank. We are sponsored by ads (very few, and only when unblocking), and by adding a shopping helper that finds the best prices when shopping online, which you can remove with one click if you find it does not help you. Write to us at help@hola.org if you have feedback about how to make this better.

Injects scripts from superfish.com Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Injects scripts from superfish.com when this addon is enabled, with no way of choosing to disallow the injection.

The Hola Shopper (Superfish) can be disabled with one click (click on "Disable")

Hola sponsored by ads (very few, and only when unblocking!), and by the Shopping app which can be removed with one click. Please write to us at help@hola.org if you have suggestions or improvements on making this process better for you. Thanks.

Installs adware Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Was working fine untill two most recent updates. The app now redirects your surfing to ad-sites and pushes their ads on every other site you visit. Stay away from this add-on.

It is untrue that the injection of scripts and pushing of adware can be disabled.
