Um, one more thing sir... Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Love it! Nice and clean. However, being the anal designer, any chance you can have those favicon-free toolbar links centered on the browser (a la Safari)?
Nice work Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Are there any plans to port this Addon for Firefox 57+ ? I mean if there is/will be possible to do that because of Webextension restrictions. This addon is currently marked as legacy. As of today Aug 6th it is still working in Firefox 57 but I'm afraid it will stop one day.
Hi, I have been looking at the documention on web extensions, but at first glance there is no way to tap into the look and feel of the browser... i'll check forums and such, but my hopes are small.
You made it, Marty!! Now compatible with Macos and Linux and signed!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Of course 5 stars. MartyBee made the extension compatible with Macos and Linux and signed it for Firefox 48. Thank you very much for your effort!!This user has a previous review of this add-on.
You're welcome :-)

Please update it for Firefox 45.0. Thanks =))
"Not available on your platform" Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Does not seem to work for me. The stupid favicons take up half the space in my bookmark bar so there is no room for the stuff I really need. Thought this would get rid of them, but no. Bummer.
Please try again.
Nice Add-On. Please Update Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Please update it for Firefox 42.0. Thanks
Thanks for the heads up!
a must-have Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is a must-have if you're into clean looks!
Thanks for updating the compatibility settings. I was finally able to remove my self-modified version. ^^
Отлично. Незаменимо на малых экранах для компактности. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Not compatible with Firefox 35 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I love this add-on, please make it work with Firefox 35 too.
I updated the compatibility settings, please try again.
Great Potential Rated 2 out of 5 stars
I didn't expect this add-on to wipe out ALL my bookmark's favicons! Easily restored, of course, by removing this add-on, but I wanted, and expected, this to allow you to choose which favicons to remove.
This is potentially a 5 star if it had this option. As it is, it is useless to me.
Gary, thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. Your idea is a good one, and there have been more ideas in the comments showing or hiding favicons in other areas of the browser. Unfortunately, I do not have the time anymore to work on the add-on.
I will change the descripion to explain the functionality more clearly.
Best regards, Marty

Practice, of course, effective.
Should be integrated as native browser option when.
dropdown marker Rated 5 out of 5 stars
add dropdown marker for rss feeds, folders, etc :)
Can use in userChrome.css.
Does exactly what it says. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Great little add-on. It'd be nice if it could hide the favicons for the places in the bookmark menu.
Super Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Il fait juste et bien ce qu'on lui demande : cacher les icônes ET les favicons dans la barre personnelle SANS les enlever dans la barre d'outils.
Mac Version? Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Please make this available for Macs! I have to tell you, I've been holding on to Firefox for this reason alone!!! I installed Google Chrome a few weeks ago for the first time just to try it out. I liked it but I didn't switch over because Firefox still had the option to have just bookmark names without favicons, so I stuck with Firefox because when the logos are gone, you can fit 30 percent more favorite bookmarks in the bar. Now I have no reason not to switch to Chrome because now Firefox 4 bookmark bar looks IDENTICAL to Chrome. Beat them to fixing this for Mac and I'll start using Firefox again. (And the one other thing I liked about Firefox is right clicking a link for a new page used to have "Open Link In New Window" at the top of the drop-down menu. Now "Open Link In New Tab" is the first on the list. It's fine if you're changing that to the default but give us the option to edit that for ourselves). The 2 things I loved about Firefox have now changed forever and I'm truly disappointed.

Addon Did Not Function Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Using FF 3.6 first and now 4.0. Did not function in either. Favicons are still showing. Uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted. Simply does not work. Windows 7 32-bit. Default theme. Other extensions: Adblock Plus, Boss Key and Buttons, and HTTPS Everywhere. Disabled all but Hide Favicons and restarted, with no effect. Disabled all extensions and plugins except Hide Favicons and restarted, but it still does not work. Would love to use it, but I can't think of anything else to try to make it work.
