Unfortunately it does not in Firefox 29 beta.

Very nice, needs better menu integration Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great add-on. My only complaint is that the menu item does not show up in firefox 27 in the Firefox drop down menu when the menu bar is not shown.

My son says this is a great extension

It was great add-on, but at the current state I cannot give more than 3 stars. Unfortunately this add-on is obsolete and many, many setting are inaccessible.

Not being developed anymore? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It's very useful, but after the recent rapid changes, I fear it might become obsolete or incompatible soon.

Very nice. Much more user-friendly than the about:config page. I find the "reset to default value" on right-click particularly useful when you've messed up your FF settings.

Request... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Looks great, thanks for making this! :-)

Request: Can you add "image.animation_mode" to toggle between "normal" and "none" to turn GIF image animations on and off? Thanks!

Very useful add-on, doesn't cover everything as in the config option, but it's good for normal users as it explains every option.

nice, could be nicer :) Rated 4 out of 5 stars

option to export all settings would be handy

Tested in FF10.0. Still with no options nor tabs nor windows to work with! It only appears a little window with three buttons: Accept, Restablish all and Cancel. I've tested the plugin in a virtual machine with Win XP-SP3 and FF 10.0 spanish version and gui:config version 1.2.2

Good stuff. Would you consider adding extensions.install.requireBuiltInCerts, per https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=688383 ? The message displayed in the Error Console is vague and doesn't explain how to work around the problem. Needed to install development builds of AdBlock Plus, among others.

Пробовал версию 1.2.1 - невозможно зайти в пункт "настройки" (Firefox 7.0, Windows 7)

Obsolete in new versions Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Since Firefox 6 and still in 7 there are no options nor tabs nor windows to work with! It only appears a little window with three buttons: Accept, Restablish all and Cancel. My Firefox is FF 7 in spanish version. My OS: Windows 7 Home Premium. And Gui Config is version 1.2.

This is fixed in version 1.2.2 which is available at http://guiconfig.freedig.org/install and of course here after it has been reviewed.

Settings Don't Apply on OS X Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This add-on is simply awesome on Windows and Linux. However, in OS X, settings simply do not apply. I've noticed that "instant apply" is unchecked in gui:config, but in about:config, it is set to "true". Not sure if this has anything to do with anything, but the fact remains that this add-on is not usable in OS X (at least, not for me). As far as Windows and Linux are concerned, this is my favorite configuration add-on. :-)

Conflicts/Disables Firefox Button Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Once gui:config was installed, it rendered my Firefox button inert. Like others reporting conflicts, I use Personal Menu to configure the Firefox button menu. But I also use the App Button Clear and Moveable Firefox Button extensions. gui:config prevents the drop-down menu on the Firefox button from dropping down. Once uninstalled, the problem disappears. I hope this can be fixed because gui:config is a 5-star concept for a much needed extension.EDIT: With both App Button Clear and Moveable Firefox Button disabled, the problem persists. With Personal Menu disabled and App Button Clear/Moveable Button enabled, the problem goes away. So the conflict appears to be with Personal Menu as others have reported.

Personal Menu conflict, too Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Clicking on the FF button only shows a square that is a few pixels in size, instead of the menu. (tested on FF5)

Neat add-on, but not something I will use.
