A very useful tool for both Greasemonkey and Scriptish. I would like to see the available scripts window open in a new tab instead.

Install Button Stops Working Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Lately I've found the Install Button stops responding. It was discussed here, in which someone came up with a mod that works. I hope the author of GreaseFire can fix this problem in next release. I'd really appreciate it!

Avec Firefox 6.0.2, quand je clique sur un lien "forum" d'un jeu, sur le site de jeuxvideo.com Firefox fige complètement pendant plusieurs minutes et le CPU s'affole. Si je désactive greasefire cela fonctionne bien.

As Jaker788 mentioned, this is currently broken in Firefox/Aurora 8.0. I looked at the support site (a forum on Userscripts.org), but that doesn't appear to be monitored any longer. The last post in the update thread was several months old, and the forum is filled with spam posts.

It's possible (though I hope not) that development may have stopped on this extension. It hasn't been updated since before Fx 5.0 was released.

This is a great addon, but not a critical one. I hope the developer updates it, but if he doesn't (for whatever reason), it won't be the end of the world.

Thnxxxxxx a loTTT for updating this great addon...it makes our life too easy...thnx again.

People who are having trouble seeing the Greasefire icon in FF4, I recommend them to Use Tab Mix Plus to re-organize both side of Address Bar. and you can put the icon there.

Hope this will help.

Great to see that it finally supports FF4, but where do I find the Greasefire icon now?

Same place as before

Greasefire simply adds fire to the background of the GM/Scriptish logo within their toolbar button, so you need to be using the toolbar button.

great to finally see and use the FF4 version, it seems to work well so far. For some reason it doesn't show as available for FF4 on this page, but just add "versions" to the end of the URL - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasefire/versions/

Question Rated 4 out of 5 stars

What happened to this getting updated the other day?

I just mail to Steve few days ago and now he's going to submit a new version soon.

If you need a workable version with Firefox4 "NOW" , you could use the one I fork , and it will get in next official version.

Still a new fork version with Firefox4 support,
then I add scriptish support now.
