Version 4.6.8 fixes a bug where the tool-tip suppression code introduced back in version 4.3 has started to cause problems. Occasionally, Googlebar Lite could cause Firefox menus to stop responding. The problematic code has been removed. A new Polish (pl-PL) localization has also been added.
Version 4.6.4 fixes a bug where, in some specific cases, the onLocationChange listener threw uncaught exceptions, causing the forward and back buttons in Firefox to stop functioning. A new Greek localization has also been added.
+ Bug Fix: An uncaught exception in the new URL parsing logic (added in 4.6.2) was causing the URL bar in Firefox to act incorrectly when a new tab was opened. + Bug Fix: The new URL parsing was too strict. Because of this, search terms were not being updated appropriately on non-web searches (image searches, group searches, etc.).
Version 4.6 adds a number of new features: an optional toolbar button to toggle toolbar visibility, a new option to set the top-level domain across all search types, a customizable keyboard shortcut for setting search box focus, and more!
Version 4.3 fixes a number of bugs, including a low-risk security vulnerability. Also note that three locales from version 4.2 are not included with this release: fr-FR, pt-BR, and sv-SE. Hopefully they will be reincluded in a future release.
Version 4.0 introduces a brand new search history system. Features include: search term auto-completion (inline completion is optional), ability to disable search history entirely, and virtually unlimited search term history size. Lots of other new features have also been added: new options, new icons, and more. And several bugs have been squashed, so update today!
Version 3.0 adds Firefox 1.5 beta 1 and 2 support, Google Maps search, a new Swedish (sv-SE) translation, bug fixes, and more! The full change log is available at the Googlebar Lite homepage. Version 3.0.1 fixes a problem with the Chinese (zh-TW) translation.
Version 2.0 adds the ability to move the Googlebar Lite toolbar around in the browser. A new Spanish translation is also now available. The download page at the Googlebar Lite homepage has the full change log.
