Makes bookmark search complete Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've always been frustrated that Firefox didn't let me get from a search result to the bookmark's folder. This add-on finally solves that problem.

Very functional and noteworthy, especially considering that, by default, Firefox doesn't have any way of locating a specific bookmark by pointing to its "parent folder" (I mean, "à la" Opera 12.16 and previous releases).

A little "spot", though: in the menu one opens by right-clicking on the bookmark one would like to locate, putting aside the name of the extension, I'd change the voice into "go TO parent folder", or "find parent folder", or something similar. Else, it looks just like a grammar... er... imprecision ^_^

Definitely USEFUL! :)

P.S.: thanks to 'the-edmeister', moderator of the <https://support.mozilla.org> forum, for recommending this one :)

it works

I've needed this for so long! Maybe add Go To location for History? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It works just as expected! It takes you right to the folder. I always put off this problem with Firefox, and this should definitely come by default.

One thing that would be really cool is to have a Go Parent to the History. So when searching for something in History, it should go to the location of the item in history, so that I can see what other pages I visited around that time. Right now I have to do this manually, and it's a real pain. I don't really know how feasible this is with the Firefox history library, but it would be even more useful.

Just what I was looking for!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Awesome!!! This has been bugging me for years that when searching for bookmarks you find it and there's no way to find which folder its in. Well now you can with this great extension. Thank You

Probably one of the biggest features missing in vanilla Firefox when it comes to bookmark organisation and non-duplication, fantastic!

An essential extension. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It's great. It adds a feature long missing in firefox. Improves the usability of bookmarks immensely.
The only thing it lack is localization. It looks odd with a different language.

Simple but awesome Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It adds something so simple but really great. I rarely have a need for it, but when I do, I'm so glad that I have it installed.

Works fine and adds a very basic functionality to Firefox Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I use this add-on for years and it works fine. It adds such a basic functionality to Firefox that I cannot understand that this function is not build into Firefox - imagine you search on your desktop for files and in the result list, you've no possibility to go to / find out the folder of a found file e.g. to see related files. Sounds ridiculous? Yes, it is, yet it's reality in Firefox unless you install this tiny add-on.

Essential Add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm so glad that I found this add-on! It is absolutely indispensable.

It works perfectly, and it solves the major problem of not being able to locate where Firefox bookmarks are stored within the folder tree (when viewing bookmark search results). This annoyance has been driving me crazy for ages.

It's such a relief to have finally found a solution. I hated using Firefox bookmarks without having this add-on installed.

Highly recommended.

Firefox has a fault of the specification that Firefox cannot move to a folder of a bookmark when searching. "Go Parent Folder 2.7" can resolve it smartly.

Incredibly useful! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Scenario: You do a search in the Bookmarks Manager, and locate the bookmark you want. But then you remember that you bookmarked other bookmarks in the same folder that contains the bookmark, but you can't see them because the bookmark manager does not show you the folder name or the hierarchy. Right-click on Go Parent Folder, and this incredibly-useful add-on will show you the folder in a tree-view on the left hand panel. The developer should get a medal!
