I love extensions like this that are aimed at protecting a users privacy on the web from third party elements on websites. I use this in combination with Do Not Track Me and Adblock Plus (with several additional blocklists). However, I've never had the time, but I would be very interested in seeing how the block lists for Ghostery and Do Not Track Me compare. From some really basic tests (disabling one of them and leaving the other enabled (with ABP disabled)) it seems that Ghostery and DNTMe do *NOT* have the same block lists. Which begs the question, what is DNTMe missing and what is Ghostery missing? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (184.108.40.206-signed).
AFAIK, Ghostery list contains all entries DNTMe does and much more. The lists are not the same, tho mostly in naming. I'm not sure what the convention that Abine uses, but Ghostery names its entries either by the company name, or particular product that company offers, for example, Ghostery has 5 separate entries for Doubleclick.
