Don't bother Rated 1 out of 5 stars
This addon doesn't work in any recent Firefox version. Save yourself the time -- don't bother installing it. Removed.
Addon hasn't been updated since early 2013 Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Installed it. Played with it for a long while. Nothing works in the addon, so I removed it. Developer is probably no longer with us since he hasn't updated the addon or responded to any reviewer. This (now) piece of useless code should be listed as incompatible with current FF.
Tried it, removed it Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Map window goes blank if you zoom in too far.
There doesn't seem to be a way to just type in an address.
Hard to use and get to work Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Works very well and it is usefull, but it was painfull to get work. And very nice that it is possible to give cordinates. When looking reviews it seems I am not the only one wondering how it works.

More useless than burnt toast. User interface simply doesn't function at all.
Stopped working at FF Ver 47.0 Rated 1 out of 5 stars
This add on was working, but with the latest updates to Firefox it has seemed to stop working
Not working witFF 46.0.1 Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Frustrating and unusable Rated 1 out of 5 stars
I got this because I have wireless internet and it puts me in a different state on location searches. Even after placing a marker for my location I was unable to add it to a list. To make it even more frustrating I had to manually locate my target area as the search function doesn't even work. On top of that while I was manually zooming in on my target the program would snap the map to where google said I was at, in an entire different state. This addon is frustrating and pretty much useless. Removed after just 15 minutes. Too bad, this would have been just what I needed.
Important Missing Feature Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Can't enter a set of coordinates. Under the covers, it's coordinate-based. But you can't directly a set of coordinates? Whaaaaa?

not working in FF 43.0.3
Don't waste your time Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Nothing works... adding geolocation, searching, saving,...
Highly recommended for those collecting useless addons and masochists who enjoy tearing their hair out.
100% broken Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Absolutely useless and non-functional. Literally nothing works, "save" button permanently greyed out, search doesn't work, can't manually set a location -- there is not a single thing that works.

I use my laptop overseas and most websites default to the local language, usually not English. I installed Geolocater, and made my geolocation in the USA, hoping it would make websites default to English. No luck though.

Works GREAT on FF35 Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Thanks for this wonderful little add-on!
Causes severe network issues - avoid! Rated 1 out of 5 stars
This plugin causes network spikes/lag? on my wireless network, I'm not sure how it does it, but it clearly creates issues every 4-5 seconds as shown on any speed test or even copying files using SMB from a local network share. Basically the speed of the adapter drops to around 1/10th usual speed. Not affected on LAN. Disabling the plugin __immediately__ fixes the problem (after restart), re-enabling it will cause the issue again. You don't even have to be on a webpage for the issue to show! even in settings as the only tab causes the problem. Not sure why or if the application is now rogue but its a issue for sure. Tested using smb and speedtest in internet explorer.

Time overall effort took to find root cause appx 24hours, 2 clonezilla backups later and a clean install. Installing one application at a time (thought it was a intel driver issue).

New locations are not saved. Search for a place are not working.
Exactly what I was looking for Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Works like a charm with FF 34.0. I wonder if it is possible to use longitude and lattitude when searching a geolocation.
