These versions are displayed for reference and testing purposes. You should always use the latest version of an add-on.

Version 6.1 15.0 KiB Works with Firefox 1.0 - 2.0.0.*

Version 6.1 adds scientific and engineering-exponential notation and searching in Wikipedia.

Version 6.0 16.0 KiB Works with Firefox 0.9 - 1.5.0.*

1. To save toolbar space, Galculator is now placed in the status bar.
2. CTRL-ALT-G or CMD-ALT-G key combos now access Galculator.
3. "V" quick-search code now searches Wikitravel.
4. Entering "?" displays quick-search codes.

Version 5.1 15.0 KiB Works with Firefox 0.9 - 1.5.0.*

Version 5.1 lets the Opera-like quick-search open the search in a new window if 2 spaces are entered (instead of 1) after the code.

Apologies for leaving the bug for so long, and many thanks to Lynne for posting a workaround. I hope I've fixed it. (And yes, you can uncheck the Galculator toolbar after dragging the combo box elsewhere.)

New features: chars(), gmaps(), flashe()

I've no idea how to make it resizable or draggable to the status bar, sorry. Can anyone help?

0. Due to public demand, ^ (and ** ) now have their "usual" meanings -- but note -1^2 is -(1^2) not (-1)^2 .

1. Added alarm(h,[m],[s],[msg]) & timer(h,[m],[s],[msg]) to set alarm clock/egg timer.

2. Added various dec2hex(), dec2oct(), hex2dec() etc. Note non-base-10 strings must be enclosed in quotes.

3. Added the experimental ** operator. Note -3**-2 = -(3**(-2)) instead of (-3)**(-2).

1. Changed text field to combo box with command history.
2. Result appears selected in the box.

If galc toolbar doesn't appear, please install Simpledictionary extension by Mike Rundle, drag out the search box then optionally uninstall Simpledictionary.

Any help on fixing this bug will be greatly appreciated!
