Better than the most popular one. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It is much useful than the top full screen addon.

I can clearly remember that in the past I used this add-on. Back in the old days, when I was on my 14" monitor, and my Mozilla Firefox was still on version 3.5. And it was the best back then.

There was a time when my Firefox was full with toolbars and my useful working space was reduced to zero. Then this plugin came along. It was a life savior.

Back then when I launched my first Zomicks website even the title (or some text in H1 tag) like: "Zomick's Challah Bread - A Special Challah Recipe by Zomick's Kosher Bakery" couldn't fit on the 800x600 CRT monitor, but this made things significantly easy.

I can clearly remember that I launched my second Zomick's website - the "Zomick's Challah Recipe" (a page full of recipes) this thing helped me with the pictures.

By the time of my third website - Zomick's Challah Bakery, I had a new monitor, a fresh new OS, and the Firefox had matured. This plugin felt unneeded due to the fact that they implemented the F11 and that I was having a better computer configuration.

So thanks to the guy's who first thought this plugin up. Thanks for bringing back the memories and for the faithful services that you provided for me and my Zomick's Bakery websites.

P.S. I tried it recently on my Firefox 29 and on my newest websites - Zomick's Bread / Zomick's Challah Bread, but it didn't work. Pitty!

Opening browser in Fullscreen = Vital Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Why does this add-on require an update?

1) No other add-on (or Firefox core) allows the user to open the browser in fullscreen mode

The rest is very nice and i like how you've done your setup. It is very simple, dont change anything its great, just update the add-on, IT WAS AWASOME!!!!

A few suggestions for a new name OpenFull, OpenFullscreen, OpenScreen, FullOpen, FullscreenOpen, Big Screen, Full-Screen, Fuller Screen, Start Full, Start Fullscreen, Begin Fullscreen.

I read your bio and you seem to be intent on updating only if you have something to add. I dont have many suggestions because i used the addon primarily to increase the browsing space on my screen, not for kiosk functions. For that it worked PERFECTLY.

I dont see any reason to add anything. Firefox core should allow users to start in fullscreen if they want to, amazing it hasnt been added to about:config somewhere...

The main reason I have not updated to Firefox 4 is that this add-on is not compatible with it. Please update this add-on. Thank you

Very good add-on but I've got a problem with the newest version of firefox (3.6.13) on Ubuntu 8.04 : on start up it works half the time.
There is any solution ?

@Auntie is right, it works great, but there's still a 1 pix grey line at the top of the screen (not as big as the line for bringing back the tabs, but still something)

Thx emsearcy for this great plugin!

This plugin works better than FullerScreen on FF 3.6.10!

But i got a little problem, when in fullscreen mode, there is a thin gray line on the top of the screen.

I have tried to modify your js code to remove this gray line but i did not success...

Could emseary kindly fix this issue or gimme a direction to fix it?

Thanks again for emseary's effort!!

Hello and thanks for this addon. I'm happy to finally have a real fullscreen mode on firefox, like opera.

I have a little problem however: in fullscreen mode, when I click on a link, there's a glitch at the top of the page. It's like if the tab bar appeared a fraction of a second. So the page displayed by firefox get down briefly before rising back.

Any ideas how solve this ?

PS : the site say do not post bugreport in comments. Okay, but where should I post it ?

Hide mouse Rated 4 out of 5 stars

it would be nice if there is an options to hide the mouse for kiosk (fullscreen) touchscreens.

Great add-on! Adding "Tab slideshow" add-on to the mix and Firefox is the perfect display tool for your advertising display.

Nice extesion, but could use a tweak or two. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Nice extension. However, I have all three options enabled and yet sometimes the browser still starts with menus visible. I'm assuming this shouldn't be happening. Usually, it happens upon restarting the browser after a Ctrl+Q or Alt+F4 had closed it. So if there is a way you can find to fix this behavior, that might help. FWIW I'm running FF 3.6 on Ubuntu 10.04.
