Saves Me Hours of Work Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm a professional web developer with a company and a co-worker just told me about Firebug the other day. Today I clocked it for the first time and I saved nearly 2.5 hours (based on usual average) when putting together the CSS for a new project.

Firebug simply is a MUST-HAVE tool for anybody who handcodes their HTML or CSS – you won't believe that you ever got along without it.

If i didn't have this, i never would have been able to learn AJAX, redesign my company's website, learn anything about Javascript libraries, and would probably be living under a bridge somewhere staring at a laptop with a broken screen and no power screaming about dragons and fruit flies that are eating my brain.

An absolute must for any Web developer or designer alike. Once you have tried it you will wonder how you lived without it.

Very powerful and yet so simple to use!

Anyone who has used Dragonfly in Opera - this is a very similar solution for Firefox.

Issue in firebug 1.3.3 Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I have updated firefox to 3.0.7 and firebug to 1.3.3 and after restarting firebug stopped responding. After tracing issue I found that I have also updated Skype and skype extension for firefox and this causing issue with firebug working. So disabling skype extesion for firefox fixed it for me and now firebug works fine for me.

Bug in Firebug release 1.3.3 Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Overall a great tool, however the current version 1.3.3 would not install correctly. I had to re-install the old one.

FireBug is the DeFacto WebDeveloper / Designer tool. an out-FOXTROT-standing ADDon. I am an Internet Taxidermist by trade, and Interactive Media Design Student. I've shared FireBug with my fellow students, web and non-web majors, and nothing but enlightenment has followed. Being able to send the bug in and view the page structure visually has unraveled the mysteries of CSS for many here. (Thanx)
