Very, very valuable for anyone doing web development. I've only played around with it a little, and I have to admit I still find it kind of confusing (I definitely haven't mastered all the nuances), but I know it's going to continue to be a big help.

Could anything be better than knowing everything about a web page? I don't think so.

Great Add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This Add-on has helped me so much. I use it for every site I work on. It is a great add-on and I recommend it to everyone that is a web developer.

1.20b4 doesn't on FF Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I downgraded to 1.20b3 because 1.20b4 doesn't work on FF 3, neither on my Mac OS X or on my Ubuntu 8.05 box.

Well, i uninstalled and reinstalled, and the highlighting on inspect returned. Something caused it to fail, but it could be some conflict with webdev or some other add on.

Highlighting failing in Ubuntu FF3 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm 1.2.0b4 with Firefox3 in Ubuntu Linux (Hardy Heron)

The highlighting of page elements with "Inspect" option is failing completely. It's fine in Windows. Others have told me they had the same issue.

This is my favorite add-on. Hope it's fixed soon. I have to go back to FF2 for debugging, until it is.

I have had no problems with 1.20b4 on FF 3. I dont think I could develop without firebug at this point

Firebug 1.20b4 and Firefox 3 Rated 2 out of 5 stars

I agree with some other comments I've read here: Firebug rev. 1.20b3 works fine with my Firefox 3.0, but rev 1.20b4 does not at all. It seems to be dead. I downgraded to 1.20b3 and everything was right again as with Firefox 2.x.

I confess I could'nt live without Firebug. It's a wonderful tool for web developing and troubleshooting.

When will rev. 1.20 "real" be available?

This rating is for the Firebug since Fx3, and I have been using 1.2.0b4 since the day it came out. Firebug is not stable with FF3. I can't use enable/disable. I know it's per panel now, but I can't find that. Not being able to disable Firebug when I need to means it hogs tons of RAM (this morning it was gobbling over 500 M!) on pages that are intense. I've just had to uninstall it for the umpteenth time since Fx3. All that said, it is so handy, I can't live without. So looking forward to it's return to stability.

Give me Back the Enable / Disable from the Menu Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Firebug is always my first choice of addon for FF. Since I have upgraded to FF3, I got to install this latest version and I was shocked that I am no longer be able to disable Firebug from the right click menu. Please give me back that simple and marvelous Enable / Disable menu.

Well Rounded Tool Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I haven't run into any issues with this on FF3. I think Robert C. Might have some conflicting applications and add ons installed...

This is a master tool that all web developers should have on hand.

Wow. I can't believe you can't disable Firebug like in the old versions. Leaving it open all of the time makes for a HORRIBLE browsing experience and not being able to disable it (and disable it for specific sites) makes the horrible experience hard to avoid. I wish I had known Firebug would get worse before I switched to FF 3, because I might have held off. Oh well. Here's hoping this issue gets fixed.
