Problem with Firebug and code highlighting Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I've noticed a problem on sites that use the code highlighter from http://softwaremaniacs.org/soft/highlight/en/
where the formatted HTML disappears from the DOM when the highlight function runs. For more details and an example of the problem in action read this blog article http://blog.strictly-software.com/2009/07/code-highlighting-gone-astray.html

great plugin, but bad with ff 3.5 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

_please_ put on the main page that firefox 3.5 users should use the 1.5 version since the onreadystatechange bug is VERY ANNOYING (it just breaks ajax requests) and if you dont know its firebug this can keep you searching for a bug in your site that isnt there!

without this SERIOUS BUG, great plugin! ;)

Firebug Channel Listener Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hello Harry,

In regards to the firebug-channel-listener, I don't believe it to be anything of the sort. You can view the sourcecode (for v1.4) here: http://code.google.com/p/fbug/source/browse/branches/firebug1.4/components/firebug-channel-listener.js?spec=svn2737&r=2737

Great Add-On ... but. Rated 2 out of 5 stars

This is a very useful add-on, but ...

It throws errors:
Error: Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIStreamListener.onStartRequest]
Source file: file:///C:/Users/Sam/AppData/Roaming/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/1un5sfx1.default/extensions/firebug@software.joehewitt.com/components/firebug-channel-listener.js
Line: 144

And this error seems to indicate that Firebug is keeping track of the websites that we are going to ....

Say it ain't so.

Corrupts CSS when inspecting Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Switching to Opera for DragonFly. Inspecting something and changing it's styles corrupts the CSS. I won't be returning to Firefox for a while (this really is a deal-breaker).

Great, but... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Agreed with Rob, but since Firefox 3.5 and the latest Firebug I had problem with randomly freezing flash apps and videos. After uninstalling, flash was behaving correctly. But Firebug was working great as usual. Thanks

If there were 6 stars, I'd give that. Firebug is simply the best developer addon for any tool that I have ever seen. And I have seen quite a few.
