I cannot remember this problem in FF3, but now with FF4 b8pre, it does NOT select 1st entry, if drop down only consists of 1 result! If drop down is more than 1 result, it selects 1st one without problem!

Would be perfect if it worked. As is, it looks like its working, but Enter still triggers my default Google fallback search unless I now press Up, Down to really select the first entry. Worse than worthless.

This addon is one of the smallest and most useful, which I use. Thanks Mardak.

LOL! This is exactly why I got rid of Cyber Search. Annoyed the living crap out of me. I don't want to hunt for the option to do a search.

You can press Tab or the down arrow to select the first entry too, BTW.

But Kudos to you all who like it. :)

Any chance to get this working with SeaMonkey 2? I really like this feature when using Firefox with this Add-on.

Causes periodic crashes when using the location bar, such as bp-02afb4be-0f7d-4d12-830b-541ef2100607. Emailed author months ago with no response. A shame because this add-on is useful otherwise.

not working (ff3.6,x86_64,Linux) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hi,

I have become really smitten with chromium's "enter selects". Unfortunately your extension doesn't do the trick for my firefox, because it only works for the first time I hit enter. After that I'm back to good old standard behaviour.
What information do you still need to figure a solution?

I love the idea but you overlooked something that would be helpful or may even be considered a bug.

Take a url like "addons.mozilla.org" for example: if you start by typing "addons.m" when you key the next character after the dot or "m", the first choice in the dropdown list is no longer selected. Same if you type "mozilla.o" then the first select disappears.

Even if this is what you intended and it happens by default it should be an option.
