This is already requested: https://github.com/Infocatcher/Download_Panel_Tweaker/issues/12
(but not yet implemented)

P.S. Oh, probably initial request was also yours, but it's already removed (not by me, only AMO editors can remove reviews).

Simple, Feature Packed, And No Restart. The Trifecta. (Works with Aurora!!!) Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I switched to Aurora to try it out and suddenly it started to irritate me that I couldn't see speed without opening the download library. Its the same for firefox but I just noticed. This whipped it right into shape. Now I can see more of my downloads not just three and I have the "show all downloads" button to open sidebar. Never even heard of it but it is much easier. You are amazing Infocatcher!!!!

Great! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Love this add-on. One small addition that would make it perfect would be that if you roll over an item in the list with your mouse without clicking, instead of just showing the name of the file (which it is already showing anyway) it displayed the source link it was downloading from. Thank you for making this.

Some nice tweaks for Firefox's built-in download manager. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Ever since Download Statusbar went defunt, I've been looking for something else simple and easy to use for managing my downloads. I tried Download Status Bar (which currently doesn't have the minimode/button that I was using before), and then rediscovered Firefox's download panel. I found that it worked decently as a replacement (I also liked the aesthetic better, and it integrated my theme), but two things were a problem - the download entries were uselessly bloated, and the current downloading speed wasn't shown unless I went to the main downloads window. This add-on was just what I needed. The entries are much slimmer and I can see the speed I'm downloading at. What's also nice is that I can now view more than the last 3 downloads.

There are a couple of other things I'd like to see - for one, I'd like to be able to delete files directly from the panel (such as in the case of a broken download that I want to restart), instead of having to dig through my downloads folder. It would be nice if the "Show All Downloads" button could be replaced with one that clears the download list. Also, it would be cool if there was some way to see the direct link (maybe when hovering over the download bar or something), rather than having to select "Copy Download Link" and then paste it somewhere else.

In any case, this addon is great for making Firefox's download manager more functional - I'm lucky to have found it. :D

See https://github.com/Infocatcher/Download_Panel_Tweaker/issues/8
So, currently I think, that it's enough to have "clear" items in the panel context menu.

May be done here: https://github.com/Infocatcher/Download_Panel_Tweaker/issues/14

Impressive. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A very good extension where the experienced author has provided the user with very good options, without swamping them with endless minor options.

Some improvements I would suggest -
#1. Right click on default Down button goes straight to Download Library.
#2. Remove the 100px width limitation on panel list(tree) in Download Library. Users could then fully minimise that tree, so that the Download Library was much more like the old Download Window.
#3. Option for Download Library to automatically open on download start, i.e. hit - PlacesCommandHook.showPlacesOrganizer("Downloads");

I think with the good existing options, you would then have a relatively simple extension that really did cover all the bases of the entire new download 'manager' and would make this a 'must have' extension for users.

Very well done, so far. (insert clapping smilie here)

Sorting downloads Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thank you for useful tweaks! Can you also add possibility to show not finished downloads first in list (like it was in Fx 17 and earlier)?

Really good but I have a litle request.
Could be possible to configure so everytime a download finish it does a small sound?
Before I used download status bar wich had that feature. But that add-on doesnt work anymore.
Would be nice to be able to configure a small sound for individual download and another sound for when all download finish.

Currently I don't have plans to implement something not related to "download panel", sorry. Because I don't have enough time to support many features (that I personally don't use).

Anyway, you can try Noise extension https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/noise/ (but notification about all downloads isn't supported, as I see).

P.S. Sorry for late reply, I was busy...

"Download panel width" ignored with NNL theme.
UPD. Thanks, with 0.1.1 pre2 it works.

Awesome enhancement for download panel.

One feature Request: Show download percentage

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.0).

See example style for userChrome.css (or Stylish extension):
https://github.com/Infocatcher/UserStyles/tree/master/Download_percentage

userChrome.css: http://kb.mozillazine.org/UserChrome.css
Stylish: https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/stylish/

Unfortunately used "magic" margins, so may looks strange with some fonts without manual correction.
(Also doesn't work correctly in RTL locales with "margin-left" and "::before".)
