Disable counter Rated 5 out of 5 stars

version 3.10.0 finally has an option to hide the annoying counter (which can cause adjacent tool-bar items to change position)

thanks Disconnect devs!

to enable/disable the counter...
about:config
search for:
extensions.disconnect.blockingIndicated
set to true or false

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.10.0).

You can also uncheck the new “Show counter” box

In the dropdown, to hide the counter (which does the same thing under the hood as your instructions).

like it, except for... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

...the annoying green counter - very bad idea and it looks like it is not possible to remove

Disconnect seems to be a fiddle-free extension for the most part, so why does it need a counter at all?

please change the icon color instead and dump the counter :)

and for the web-knowledgeable, you can dump the built-in whitelist and replace it with:
{"":{"Google":false,"Twitter":false,"Yahoo":false,"Facebook":false,"LinkedIn":false}}
note that this may/will break some sites!
the pref is:
extensions.disconnect.whitelist

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.9.1).

You beat me to replying :-)

(Since you can only reply 1x on AMO, I try to wait till we fix a reported bug or add a requested feature so the reviewer knows the change is live. Thanks for the updated review.)
