Love it Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Impressive! I love the customized site-specific shortened URLs, like for groupon.

Not reliable at all Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Not working half (maybe more) of the times. Scissors just go gray and nothing happens. Seen on several computers. Unusable addon for me.

I'll be grateful if you can also add V.GD shortening service to your list. It's an IS.GD companion service. Thanks! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Still works great for me. Use it for google link shortening.

Great shortener - the best among the add-ons. I like it and I've paid for it.
The only major issue is that it conflicts with iReader (
If iReader is installed after CutyFox then latter doesn't work. If the installation order is changed then iReader seems to be behaving.
That be truly great if you can take a look and perhaps fix the problem.
Thank you so much!

Time to withdraw support Rated 1 out of 5 stars

It used to work flawlessly. Months ago I asked the developer to clean up a minor issue and nothing happened. Now it outright has stopped working. R.I.P. to a once great add-on. It is a shame. I really got lots of good use out of it when it worked.

Sorry for that!

I'm really sorry to hear that you have got problems with my addon. I develop this Addon in my free time, but at the moment it's really hard to fix issues, because I'm in the middle of the preparations for my final examinations. But I promise that I'll try to solve bugs in my Christmas holidays. So, please bear with me if I can't fix the Addon immediately.

All the best,

Nice work!
But is it possible to shorten with Because I would like to have a german url shortener, please.

Good Tool Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Excellent work. Does what it should do. Only one small thing: the toolbar icon is too big. Usesully I use small icons without labes. But even if I set the toolbar icons to standard size icons its a giant. Please make you toolbar icon fit in the atandard FF6 (Mac) toolbar.

Glad to hear that you like Cutyfox. I'm currently working on this bug and plan to change the toolbar icon in the next version (Feedback entry: Yours, Christian

fb shortener? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a must have!!
Only feature I would request is the "" option for facebook, works fine for youtube. Great addon

Does it work w/ Echofon on Firefox Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Does this also work with Echofon on Firefox?

Every time i click on the shorten link on FF 6.0 i get the warning message (in german): Firefox does not know how to open this adress....

The short link is not copied into the memory, but i can see it in my account.
Any solution for this problem?

Shortcut in location bar is the most useful for me.

This no longer works for Twitter Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Twitter made changes to how links are accepted by the site, so many buttons no longer work and need to be updated.

Twitter solved this

It was a problem of Twitter which should be solved. Now you'll be redirected to a clean Twitter form, were you can post your tweet.

Only missing the API key Rated 4 out of 5 stars

First review attempt threw an error...Sorry if this duplicates.

@IsoNick The goo,gl API requires a key specific to your account to store shortened URLs for you. This extension (and all others i've seen that offer goo,gl shortening) don't have a user setting to provide the API key. And i don't even know if it's possible to open it as a user setting.

Hopefully this developer will do an update if it is possible. For a couple reasons:
1. Users get their shortened URLs stored in their Google accounts
2. Minimizes privacy concerns that the developer isn't feeding his own API key and (mostly anonymously) harvesting URLs into his own Google account.

Anyway, 4 stars for now, the 5th given for being able to provide my own API key. i like the feature of being able to do my own bitly OAuth, but i prefer goo,gl.

Because of the reason that I develop this project in my free time, it will take a little bit until I release the next version. But I'll try to implement this. Yours, Christian

In FF 4.0.1, it doesn't appear in the context menu.

You can enable the menu in the preference tab "Interface" (preferences->Interface->Right-Click Popup Entries). This option comes with the lastest version (1.4.1).

Works Great Rated 5 out of 5 stars

CutyFox works for me with no problems. I especially like the way it picks the URL shortening service based on the URL - nice touch.

Works well, but ... Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I like the possibilities to place the button where I want to in Firefox. I only got one problem, when I make short url using the option, the short url don't get added to my list of urls at - and yes! - I am logged in to my Google Account. If it had worked, it have been five of five stars.
