Why was Context Highlight created?

I wrote Context Highlight as a research aid for myself and others, to accompany the built-in highlighting functionality in Firefox. I found that there wasn't really anything out there that let me simply find other occurrences of a term or terms on the same page - so I made it happen, and I've been using it ever since (along with many of you).

What's next for Context Highlight

There are three main features I'd like to add to Context Highlight in the future:

1) Some form of preferences GUI to expose and allow customisation some of the features that aren't so obvious (for example, holding CTRL when clicking "Highlight word" doesn't clear existing highlighting).

2) Colour customisation - allowing users to choose their own colours.

3) Characters to ignore (I've had requests for ignoring things like underscores) - this would definitely be optional and set via a user preference.

I'll happily discuss and consider other requests, as well as accept code contributions.
