Firefox 29 beta 1 Linux.

Issue N1: Cannot put add ons on the add on bar or additional toolbar. I drag them there but nothing happens. The add on bar only has QuietURL, Lazarus and Form History Control (they are unmovable and permanent).

I've already erased localstore.rdf to no avail.

Issue N2: Back, forward, reload buttons are *unmovable*.

Issue N3: The Uppity extension icon *cannot* be put next to Forward button.

Issue N4: Movable Firefox Menu button does *not* work.

Thank you for your effort.

Australis is the biggest Mozilla's mistake with Firefox. I want to hope they will come to their senses.

P.S. I will try with a new profile and your suggestions. Thanks again! I still cringe at what Firefox 29 has become - it's an abomination for a power user like me. Without your addon it's a mess of UI which I cannot customize for my needs. I don't need yet another Google Chrome or IE which are similar in this regard. Damn.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.6).

If you updated from the previous non-Australis Fx version, your profile might got corrupted. Since removing the localstore.rdf did not help, you have to setup a *new* profile. (I just did this on Linux Mint and Ubuntu and everything works fine with 29beta 1).

Some add-ons do not support Australis changes and won't work correctly or may keeps other add-ons from working correctly. Add-on developers have to update their add-ons to work correctly with Australis Firefox. To achieve that they have to make their buttons/items movable instead of forcing them into a specific area like add-ons bar or status bar (which are not officially present in Australis). CTR does not and in most cases can not fix other add-ons issues.

Uppity: Works fine and is movable.
Lazarus: works fine. Add-ons item is inside status-bar (enable status-bar on CTRs prefwindow) and not movable. It was not movable before Australis too, was it?
QuietURL: works fine. Add-ons item is inside status-bar (enable status-bar on CTRs prefwindow) and not movable. It was not movable before Australis too, was it?
Form History Control: Button works fine and is movable, BUT Form History Control breaks CTRs status-bar! Don't use this add-on with CTR, if you want to use the status-bar!

About issues you have:

N1: A new profile should help.

N2: You have to enable 'movable back-forward' button on CTRs prefwindow first. Stop and reload buttons have to be moved to toolbars using Fx customizing mode (right-click on toolbar -> select "Customize...").

N3: Probably because 'movable back-forward' button option is not enabled.

N4: Works for me. Moving items only works through customize mode.

Use CTRs support forum for issue discussions. ;-)

Edit:
Form History Control breaks CTRs status-bar on Linux only! Works fine on Windows.
Uncheck inside FHC preferences "Show icon in taskbar" and CTRs status-bar will reappear again.
