Premium account is too expensive Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Is too expensive premium extensions based on monthly or yearly subscription. No lifetime subscription and too expensive yearly payment

Hello yard!
Thanks for your comment.
I do not offer lifetime subscription, because this would mean big responsibility for a looong time. What if an illness makes me stop further developing this service?

I can understand that many people find the yearly prices high, when there are thousands of services for free out there.

Unfortunately i am not backed at all, i pay all the costs by myself, and try to get some return.

but i have plan to get a bit cheaper next year, because now i have more paying users. the more i have, the cheaper i can be.

It's very easy to use. I have been lately using other bookmarking apps and those kinda have generated problems every now and then. This one is more simpler.

Freeman31 just trolling without a single braincell. Dear troll! this is not a desktop application. And btw 3 Euros is nothing for a working bookmark+contact manager+feed reader, if you don't have 3 Euros, go play in the sandbox

Looks nice... but you have to pay ! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Same as Devo: I'm very disappointed. The add on looks like on the paper. This thing that I want to do is to import my FF bookmark in it. And for that, you have to pay. :-( Bye bye. I remove it immediately from my PC.

Great Bookmark Manager Rated 5 out of 5 stars

@Very obnoxious - I don't know what your smoking mate but I've just come across Bookmax in the last couple of days and it seems like a great bookmark manager. Yeah unfortunately you can't import your existing bookmarks, which is a bit of a pain for somebody with a lot of existing bookmarks, but it more than makes up for that by being able to display an image of the webpage and is very easy to add your own descriptions about each page - handy for somebody like me with a lot of similar websites. I'm happy to keep trying out the free version for a while but if it lives up to the potential it's shown so far I'd consider upgrading it the paid version after all the price is similar to x-marks which I use currently but offers more features than just synchronization.

Bookmax and the Firefox add-on are great. I've used it for about a year. The free site is good, and the premium site is even better - well worth the money. The Firefox add-on makes it really, really nice. Whenever I surf to a webpage that I want to bookmark, I simply click a button on my Firefox toolbar and the add-on allows me to quickly add the link into Bookmax.

I searched the web for a bookmark system that was "in the cloud" that I could use from my work computer, home computer, cell phone, and tablet. Bookmax was the only one I found that meets my needs and it is great! Highly recommend it.

Thank you, it´s really good to see, that there are people out there who like bookmax, though i cannot offer all features for free. Thanks.

It's completely useless. You can't even import a limited amount of your bookmarks. You have to pay them a monthly fee to be able to manage your bookmarks.

Honestly, I'd rather just get more used to FireFox's default bookmark manager and boycott.

It is simply not true, that you have to pay a monthly fee to be able to manage your bookmarks. There is a free and a premium account. You can add, manage and even export your bookmarks in the free version WITHOUT any payment. Importing was removed form the free version, because it was heavily abused and led to permanent server crashes.( In short: give them a finger, and they tear out your arm).
If you really want to use bookmax and need to import, you can pay for just 1 month, that´s exactly EUR 2.95. Then you import once, after 1 month you account falls back to free account and all your imported bookmarks remain in the free account.

I think there are more developers out there, who also spend hundreds of hours to build tools to relieve every day tasks and maybe pay hundreds or thousands of dollars to keep their services running. And when you try to get any return of your work, which will never even pay the cost, and then have to hear that your work is obnoxious and someone is VERY DISAPPOINTED, because you were so barefaced to ask for EUR 2,95, then, yes then, at least for my part, i really would like to throw it all to trash, delete the whole site, quit the server and just let it all go. And go to the next bar, order a beer for EUR 2,95, cause that´s exactly what i would have asked for. 1 f*cking beer.
