I love this theme. But why oh why the translucent drop-down menus? With Windows XP, anyway, they're v. hard to read.

Also, why no reload button?

In pretty much every other respect - sleek, elegant, super classy - superb.

apologies

I appreciate the feedback and the rating.. I have not been able to devote any time to this theme in quite a while. I hope to someday soon get time to renew the efforts and provide a truly multi-platform theme (win XP - win 7 - OS X - iOS - unbutu/android - etc..). I'm not sure which version of Firefox you are running, or which version of the theme you are using, but the reload button should be the blue circle. Anyway, thanks for the encouraging words.

Tin_Man where are you? This extension requires an update. I really need to have this extraordinarily smooth, simple, elegant and beautiful plug-in extension updated for Firefox 6.02. I would happily make a contribution if that spur your motivation. Best regards.

Disappointment Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I have to admit that at one time I was enamored with Bauhaus. Clean lines, compact in size, bright primary colors, and nothing more! This beautiful theme is no longer available to me or to anyone else who made the choice to move forward with FF6. I would love to have Bauhaus gracing my desktop again. Hell, I would even make a financial contribution to the author!

I love this theme. Can't wait for update for Firefox 4.0 for Mac. Really miss it.

Separator(s) ? Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very nice skin, thanks for keeping it updated !
I just have a question : how to make the separators visible ? I'm quite missing this feature, especially for folders in the bookmarks toolbar. I searched the jar and found several css files with the word "separator", but there are too many places with the word "separator" !

This IS one of my favourite themes. The best purist theme out there.

It's simply the best. Amazingly minimal. One minor disagreement: the print button could be better, to my opinion.

Clean and simple while also stylish. Wish you'd update the Thunderbird version.

i love how simple it is. at first i was skeptical; but now i think identifying things by colour rather than shape is the better. one thing though, since i sometimes share this computer, the rest of my family also has access to it, and my sister in particular really loves making everything look real flashy and pretty-like. can you add compatibility for *personas as well? otherwise we have to restart the browser everytime another uses it acording to taste/preferences.
thank you for reading and sorry to bother you.

Persona vs. Skin

In previous versions of the theme that were built for previous versions of Firefox, I had some fairly interesting things in development that I could only get working on FF 3.1.x for windows. Unfortunately, since the last major FF update, I can't get Personas and Skins to play nice together. I hope by the time I get the next skin update ready, they will have resolved this issue.

Crisp, modern theme. The pastel colors and the button shapes are awesome.

My favorite theme so far!
About the new update:
Pros - I like the new proportioning for everything. I also like the redesign of the drop down bars, I think. I don't recall the old one, but this strikes me as different from what I vaguely remember, and I like it.
Cons - The only thing I'm kind of iffy about is the new "new tab" image. I see what you did with the three different rectangles to make the folder, very clever, but I liked the old flag as well. I guess it'll just take some getting used to.

Overall, great update! Made me glad that I waited for 3.6 compatibility to download FF3.6, so I wouldn't have to lose this theme!

holding your breath...

Wow, you waited for the theme update, before updating Firefox? Ladies and Gentlemen, meet my biggest fan! :)

Seriously, though... I know what you mean about the tab icons. I'm doing what I can to keep everything language-neutral, but understandable and clean. I thought the biggest complaint was going to be the color change (when you mouse-over and/or press it). Perhaps the next iteration of the theme may return to something closer to the old tab icon. (then someone will ask about _that_ change.. hehe)

Thank you for support, the scrollbars in MacOSX have no arrow triangles on buttons, but are present and work fine.

Scrollbar ends and other items

Thanks for the rating.. I just uploaded v1.9.1 which _should_ fix some of these things.
I've (sadly) left the back/next drop-down button a bit too far away from the back and next buttons (hopefully providing better Mac support though). I'm going to try and tighten it up a bit for the next update.

Updated Mar. 14, 2010

Version 1.9.0 (not 1.8.1) is uploaded and can be installed if you click "view all versions"

I know there are some tweaks to be made, but it's been working alright in Win7.
