Yes, we all know about the keyboard shortcuts but I want to use the mouse! This is very good.

Almost perfect Rated 3 out of 5 stars

You have to click on the page itself before it works.

Very handy with lots of options. I like it because it provides quick access to the top and bottom of longer pages, which is exactly where most of the important links are found.

Very convenient

Congratulations, and an idea Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Congratulations, this is a very nice this plugin, and i don't know if this is the right place to post this but I have an idea, I find this pluggin because I was trying to find some "logwatcher". Sometimes i run commands which generates long logs, and i've seen that a good idea is to open this logs in firefox but i need to refresh F5 many times and go to the bottom of the page. The idea is: this plugin could have an auto-go-to-the-bottom with refresh every x seconds.

It's just an idea :)

Sweet, simple, saves those insanely long periods of scrolling, scrolling, and yet more scrolling on long websites. Quick, efficient, and highly recommended.

I've been uninstalling and reinstalling this add-on for a while from the firefox 2 period(now ff3). I really like the idea behind this add-on. Going to top or bottom of the page with a click of the mouse is nice. However, I find the clicking-the-middle-mouse-button thing even more useful. It enables you to go to the next part of the unviewed contents. Of course, you can scroll the middle mouse button to get there, but that's a lot of work. This function is not found in a lot of other add-ons while you can use mouse gestures to go to the top or bottom of the page. That's why I installed this extension in the first place. The reason I keep uninstalling it is that I found myself not using much of it in reality, because it's not readily accessible. You have to move your mouse to the status bar to make it work. Most of the time, the cursor is in the middle of the page, busying clicking links or simply scrolling the page with the middle mouse button. In order to use this add-on, your mouse cursor has to travel from somewhere on the page to the status bar very frequently (you cannot blame clicking on links). In short, I wish this add-on could be more handy. For example, using some combination of mouse movements to activate it anywhere on the page. Of course, making it less intrusive should be taken into consideration also. In summary, very neat extension. Just need to make it easier to locate it and click on it.

Amazing how useful this is.

Actually very handy Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Very useful when right hand is on mouse, esp. the pageUp, pageDn settings!

If you hit next on find bar, back-to-top buttons on status bar quit until you click on the web page.
Has no small toolbar icons for up or down - I shrank them w. editor, it did not stick. Dragging status bar down button works, up button forgets new position.

Problem on Linux - no OK on prefs!
to save prefs, pick LAST dropdown then hit enter.
Now you have to RESTART for new settings to take effect.
Bug: Missing OK button - http://www.customsoftwareconsult.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=632

I love it. Yes, you can use your [home] and [end] keys to do the same thing, but I like Back to Top's right-click option.

Nice and simple. However, I have found that it still does NOT work when using IE Tab. Other than that bug it's a great add-on.

Overkill Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Well, I do admire the effort, and I admire the meticulous attention to detail. It is a job well done. But I got rid of mine when 5.0 came out, because it is just too much more than I need. There are so many hundreds (or thousands) of such details in our lives, that it isn't pleasurable to need to make so many decisions regarding basic utilities like this one has become. A painter may paint a masterpiece, but he needs to know when to put the brush down. So I congratulate the makers for doing such a beautiful piece of work--it certainly is that--but I suggest it would have been a better use of time to distance themselves from this project, and maybe to use the same energy to create another, different, utility. Thank you very much indeed, in any case. People wondering whether to try this out--do so, by all means, and enjoy the tweaking. It certainly represents lots of thought and good work.

I really like BTT but sadly I am on FF3, Beta 5 and can't use it. Hopefully, it will be updated and I will be able it use it again.

Should be standard Rated 4 out of 5 stars

This function should be standardized in all browsers, as much as the "go" button following the address bar or the "back" button for browsing. Thank you for creating it. It's not "laziness" to not want to scroll and scroll and scroll....oh yeah, and scroll more, just to get to the top of the page again. The other possibility we've all been left with (before you created this) is to grab that tiny* sidebar and try to scoot it up. Sometimes it gets rebellious and doesn't WANT to scoot back up. I mean, c'mon! It's simple. I wish to return to the top or I wish to go to the bottom. And YOU created it. Thank you.

*The way I've had to work around the "thin" sidebar is to go into Display Properties\Appearance\Advanced\Scrollbar and re-size the pithy thing. Thanks for stopping that insanity for me. I change desktop themes with WindowBlinds frequently and that was really getting on my nerves.

I have been looking for something like this for practically weeks. I'm too lazy to move my arms to "home" on my keyboard. Thanks for enabling my laziness!
