Rated 4 out of 5 stars
this app is awesome. and its been active and staying up to date for a long time now and that says a lot. I've used it on many devices as well and always functions correctly.
The reason I give it 4 stars is because i would really love to see a cropping tool.
Fixed keyboard shortcuts Rated 5 out of 5 stars
The shotcuts were annoying me too and found a fairly easy way to fix it.
I use a Mac so it may be slightly different on Windows but the same idea applies.
1. Create a new directory (ex: awesome)
2. Download the xpi file to the awesome directory (right-click > save as)
3. Unzip the file (it's just a zip file renamed to have an xpi extension)
4. Open up resource/as-ff/lib/ui.js in Notepad or TextEdit (or any plain-text editor. Not Word/Pages)
5. Scroll down to line ~270ish and find the two shortcuts (combo:'accel-shift-v' and combo:'accel-shift-e')
6. Change it to what you want
7. Save the file
8. Zip up the the files (not the awesome directory or it won't work...just the files in the awesome directory)
9. Rename the .zip extension to .xpi (the filename doesn't matter, just have the xpi extension)
10. Open up Firefox > Tools > Add-Ons > Click the gear at the top right of the page > Install Add-On From File... > Locate your new .xpi file > Install
11. Restart (may not be necessary...wasn't for me) and test
To bad about the NON-Configurable keyboard shortcuts Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I noticed that the new version 2.4.9 enables hotkey shortcuts. I'm a keyboard guy so normally I would LOVE that but you couldn't have picked a worse keyboard combination than Ctrl+Shift+E. That is the native keyboard shortcut to switch tab groups which is an absolutely essential function in FF so until this is fixed I'm going to have to uninstall your helpful add-on.
Shortcut key is annoying Rated 3 out of 5 stars
There is no way to disable or change the shortcut keys. I have to disable it or I cannot use ctrl+shift+v to open Adblock Plus filter list.
Breaks tab groups & AdBlock Plus blockable items Rated 3 out of 5 stars
It used to work pretty well, but now it's hijacked the shortcuts for the Firefox Tab Groups feature and the Blockable Items list of Adblock Plus. Since I use both quite frequently, I had to disable Awesome Screenshot.
In the past, it was possible to configure custom shortcuts so this problem didn't occur. Unfortunately, this feature has been removed.
Otherwise, Awesome Screenshot is a nice extension. Though if things stay this way, I'll have to look for an alternative.
Jumpin Jack Flash Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Awesome Screenshot Plus does exactly what its developer claims. The interface is simple, intuitive, and gives you the option of either a screenshot or the entire page. The annotation function is a useful addition that assists me in quickly identifying the relevant information on each page. The app also gives you the option of saving the document online or on your PC. This review does not cover the app in its entirety, but its an honest representation of the functions that I have used thus far. The developer created an app that does exactly what it was designed to do.
Problem with OSX & Shortcut key !!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Very good app but with the last update there is a problem in OSX with shortcut key cmd+shift+e ! Normally it brings tab group in Firefox !
I have no choice to disable this extension and wait for an update...
shortcut key Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Please bring back the option to configure shortcut keys. Currently Ctrl-Shift-E is clashing with Firefox's own tab grouping function.
Saving is not working Rated 4 out of 5 stars
It does not saves the screenshot since I update fiefox.
It does not save the screenshot... Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Used to be working just fine.
Now, I can take a screenshot, I can edit it, and it won't save it!
... despite the fact that mommybud said "the local Save button works now".

Wonderful Add-On, long-time user. Update: Local Save Button Fixed - Thank you! Rated 4 out of 5 stars
v2.2.4: I've used this wonderful add-on a bazillion times/week for more than 5 years. I can't do what I need to do without it. As has already been stated, the "local save" does not work since the last Firefox upgrade.
Also, the preferences have been "dumbed down". Why?
v2.4.8 - It's dumbed down even further. Functionality remains the same (works well), and the local Save button works now. :)

Solid, solid, solid web extension. Poor medical student, but one day when I'm earning some real income - expect a serious contribution from my end. You guys have helped me capture a lot of stuff while studying. Thanks for all you do!This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.4.4).
Great, but need to fix that Save button Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Been using this for a while now. A great plugin. Save button does not work anymore since a recent Firefox upgrade, but right-click, save as, works fine. Thanks for the tip. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.4.4).
It kept disappearing When I needed it. I dont need the valueless addons. Rated 2 out of 5 stars
I can't really comment on the actual ability of the add-on to grab screenshots. I have only been able to test it here and there, but find that when I need it I can't seem to find where the button has gone. I look in the customize and all over the toolbars to find it missing. I removed and reinstalled twice and the third time I decided to get Nimbus (i haven't tried it yet so I cant say it is any better or worse). I can speak to the irritation that the additional "value-added" features are not simply disabled by default. While they don't show to be active, they do pop up anytime you go to amazon and shopping sites asking you to enable them. I would continually click "do not ask me again" and it would. I personally don't think you can label something disabled if it can constantly nag you and try to run. (the default button when it nags is the choice to enable it, this if you are not paying attention might be accidentally picked by hitting enter and now the creator can say that you chose to enable it.) If the intent is to just have an amazing screen capture add on, I advise to make sure those parts are without issue before adding on tracking bits to make a profit. I'm sorry before adding "value-addons". The add ons are mostly valuable to Diigo Inc. not the user. Don't act so pious that it's not malware or adware, it is a really close cousin. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.4.4).

How to save generated image with right button Rated 5 out of 5 stars
The image can be saved with the right button of the mouse, while the "Save image as a file" option has this issue. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.4.4).

Doesn't save local file (FF v36.0.4) Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Came looking for a fix. I see I am not alone.
This was great a few FF versions back. Now only saves images online. That's not acceptable when trying to create images from private content. Is useful for taking images of public content, then posting those screenshots publicly via the temporary option [thanks for that], then re-downloading the posted saved images to your hard drive. Is doable but a hassle.
So far nothing handles full page saving for me as well as this plugin. So I deal with the hassles for now....but only for public content. Still looking for a plugin (or fix) for taking screenshots of non-public content :/
Oh. Stupid me. I just read you can right click and choose 'save as'. Tried that previously and ass-u-med was not an option. Turns out I had had something else running that prevented that. Fixed. Choosing 'save as' is a better work around than temporarily uploading and saving online just to get the image on my hard drive.
Thanks to who(m)ever recommended that!!!!!
Doesn't save Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Love the interface and the simplicity. But the local "save" functionality doesn't work and without that, it's just a big disappointment. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.4.4).
