good idea, but... Rated 3 out of 5 stars
... needs option to disable the keyboard shortcuts. i.e. I only want to use it with the button. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.3).
At the bottom of the add-on description there are instructions on how to change the shortcuts. Perhaps you could change it to something you never use? I doubt I'll add an option to completely disable shortcuts.
Tab sorting Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Thank you to have restored this feature. :-)
Just one thing is missing, it's the ability to drag and drop tabs thumbnails to sort them at will.
It's great! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Let me say one thing. It's awesome! Even if the functionality is removed, it is possible to return it to those who need it. Thank you. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).

The only missing thing is the favicon - please display it in the top-left corner of the preview (it's usually available even for the unloaded tabs so it's extremely useful - without favicons they are just a bunch of gray squares).
Please add this and 5 stars are yours!
Restores Only Half of Removed Function Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Like many users of the Ctrl-Tab extension, I was disappointed the all tabs preview was removed from the latest Firefox. A review linked to this extension. I am grateful the author restored this function, but it seems to only restore half of it. The default keyboard shortcut Ctrl-Shift-Tab does not bring up the popup window of tabs. It only goes to the address bar. But the toolbar button works as it used to. I don't know how to change this behavior. If this could be resolved, then it would be great. I run FF 22.0 on Mac OS X 10.8.4, if that helps. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).
good but can be improved Rated 3 out of 5 stars
It's a good way to recover the "all.tabs.preview", but the original kept inside the browser and It used the default theme of the operating system instead of black theme, and could be closed and opened by click on the button.
Great job, though there's still a missing link Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Just recently found out I lost the single most important Firefox feature, the tab preview grid with instant search. This addon restores it and with the right settings (focus search box immediately - why isn't this the default?), it's almost back.
The problem that remains is that you have to invoke it manually by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Tab, while previous versions were also invoked by ctrl-tabbing through the few tabs displayed and then releasing on the "x more tabs" button.
Since I usually ctrl-tab back to the most recent used tabs, and if it's not there, just ctrl-tab to the button to be able to search over all tabs, this feature would actually make this addon complete.
Works well and much needed, thank you very much Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I sooo missed this feature of the Ctrl-Tab addon (looks like the author of that addon himself is the one that removed this feature from Firefox - I don't understand what's going on there). Thank you for restoring this functionality.
One minor complaint would be that when I press Ctrl-Shift-Tab, the focus is on the current tab (which is pretty much useless) instead of the search box above. Still, I don't have to use the mouse, it's just a Tab key away, so it's not a big enough issue to reduce my rating, but would be a nice-to-have.
Btw, @wolwerine, if you're too stupid to read even the one line description of the addon at the top, if you're installing extensions without even bothering to read what they do, maybe you should stick to IE6 or something. Seriously, this guy puts in free effort to restore a much-needed functionality, and you rate it down simply because YOU forgot to read the description?
There is an option to focus the filter field (search box) when showing the popup on the add-on's option page, it's just unselected by default. It should start working immediately.

Glaring example of badly named addon. It's not closed tabs restore with thumbnails (that'll be amazing), it's obsolete "all tabs" visual menu restoring addon.
Anyway, it does not work with Aurora 23.
Working good, but needs some improvement Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I usuallu crash my browser in order to save tabs and use tab preview function. But FF removed this feature lately. This addon was having problems initially, but now it works. I have more than 600 tabs and scaling tab view images seems to be a problem. Also the page cache image does not work when i crash firefox. It only works when i load the page again. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).

Only this addon can relieve the pain for lovely feature being axed.I'm almost satisfied, but I want one feature to be implemented. When I call tab listings, the list window occupys the region beyond the size of Firefox window. Before axed, its size was confined within the window from which it was called. I almost always use FF in window mode and the window sized roughly half of my display in horizonal, so it's sometimes annoying that the region outside FF is also masked. Please consider adding the option which works the same way as before.Sorry for my bad English.
Edit: Only one more thing I hope is the function to make favicons shown.

Five stars because it works, haven't had any issues, and was really hoping somebody who knew what they were doing would revive this. Not a complaint, but just letting you know there's a distinct delay from when I click the toolbar button to when the tab grid shows up, way more than in the original add-on. I'm using the .7 build. Thanks very much for it.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5).
Working but can be improved Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I changed the rating to five stars because it is now useable though not satisfying on my Mac Os. The tab arrangement now is okay and useable. My problem now is the original binding key doesn't work (CTRl-Shift-Tab), and I couldn't find the workaround solution you suggested. I looked up for the about:config, and there is no extensions.allTabsRestorer.keyCode value.
Also some bugs:
1. if you type a word to filter a tab, the next time you launch the extension, there is a considerable delay.
2. the font of the tab title is too bold and not very comfortable to read because it overlap each other. I use Mac, so perhaps this is due to the default font.
******Thank you. I was mad at Firefox to remove this feature. So I am very happy to find out this extension, but it is not working functionally in my Mac Air. Ctrl-Shift-Tab doesn't work. I could add the icon to toolbar. And if I press all tab icon, I could see the overlay preview, but the arrangement of tab is a mess, which renders it unuseful.
My Mac virtual machine is not currently working. I will not be able to fix the problem until I can get the VM working again. :(I have a workaround coming to version 1.0. I will add two hidden options (in about:config) to set key code and modifiers so you can set whatever keys you want to open the popup. The fields will be extensions.allTabsRestorer.keyCode and extensions.allTabsRestorer.keyModifiers. You could change VK_TAB to Z (or something else that's not used) and after a restart it should register your new key.
*****edit: Slight miscommunication - the KeyCode value will not show up until version 1.0. It's currently being translated. It won't show up until the end of this month.
What about unloaded tabs? Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Thanks for partially bringing bach this feature, but it shows only the currently loaded tabs :-(This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4).
Version 0.7 has a hidden option to load unloaded tabs when the popup is displayed. It has not been published by Mozilla as of this reply. You can get it from the "Version Information" link below. Click on version 0.5 and it will take you to the correct page to see 0.7 or wait a few days. Set extensions.allTabsRestorer.loadUnloadedTabs to true in about:config.

Great! I almost cried when they killed the previews in FF 21. 'Twould be good to be able to switch from the search bar to the tabs without having to press "tab", which would make browsing a tad faster. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4).
Version 0.5 no longer automatically selects the filter field (unless you set extensions.allTabsRestorer.focusFilter to true in about:config.) Hopefully that's good enough. It you scroll to the filter field with the arrow keys it still gets stuck.
Needs improvements Rated 3 out of 5 stars
It's great that this feature has been restored but it still needs improvements. Some issues i found while trying out this addon:
-If lots of tabs are open(100+), the layout is really messy and you cannot view all of the opened tabs since they are not being resized to fit the screen.(Also scrolling is unavailable)
- If 2 or more firefox windows are open, instead of displaying open tabs in their own window, it combines them in the layout giving you a really messy list.
- If the title or description of the web sites are too long, the writings are messy. They need to be cut in size according to the size of the display in the layout to provide a proper display.
It's really great that this has come back but it still is inferior compared to the original All Tabs preview feature.
If you are interested, i can provide more detailed explanations and screenshots.
I think this has all been fixed as of version 0.7. It has not been published by Mozilla as of this reply. You can get it from the "Version Information" link below. Click on version 0.5 and it will take you to the correct page to see 0.7 or wait a few days.

Merci pour ce remarquable travail. J'espère que cette fonction sera de retour dans les futures fonctions de Firefox.
En attendant, grâce à vous, je peux enfin retrouver une des fonctionnalitée que j'utilise le plus !
