I won't support aFCA anymore because I no longer use Firefox. If you are a developer, feel free to take the code and do whatever you want with it. If you are a Google Chrome user, you can try Boss Banana
aFCA (with Google Translate
under the hood) translates the text you select, right on the page
. If the translation is obviously wrong, you can look for a better one in Google Dictionary
. When you're done, middle-click
and you're back
on the first page.
You can also look up the word(s) in Wikipedia
(or whatever website you want) and the translation of the whole page
is just 2 clicks away.
You can translate
text inside fields
aFCA creates tabies
, tabs which are born to be closed. Indeed, middle-click
in a taby
and you'll return to its parent tab
You can blacklist
sites on which you don't want the bubble, the cursor's skin or the placemark to appear.
If you don't like the bubble, you can display the translation at the top of the context menu
I've hidden quite a lot of menu items to make some space, so if you miss one, please have a look at the options.
As a bonus, you can open links in tabies
... although I think I'm the only one who uses this feature. ^^
