Works exactly the way it says it does. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I've started using this again, and I'm leaving another review to point out that the add-on works perfectly, and that the one-star reviews are being left soley by people who don't RTFM. On the other hand, I can't seem to point the sync field to a local file using the file:// scheme... is this not possible?
(Also, contrary to a recent review, enabling/disabling on the fly works just fine.)
Thank you. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This review is based on exactly one use of the add-on, but I'm giving it full stars because I was able to go from discovering my need for this add-on, to finding it, to using it successfully in under a minute, just by using the interface it provides via context menu. With the time I saved, I'm writing this review. Thanks for making this.
A good start, but very limited versatility. Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I was curious if this could be a replacement for Advanced URL Builder, which doesn't seem to be actively developed in recent years. Unfortunately, being limited to only two URLs (changing them seems to require a restart) diminishes the versatility, and the results were always opened in panels, whether the option was checked in preferences or not. Still, this could be a useful complement to Advanced URL Builder, if there are just a couple of sites that you would like to open in a panel instead of a tab. Also, the keyboard shortcuts are nice.
Almost perfect. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
The only snag I encountered was that the highlighting colors only change the background color, which renders white text (in the case of a light-on-dark user interface) invisible.
Edit: Almost forgot - the Shift-F2 shortcut also collides with the shortcut for Developer Toolbar.
Works great, but usability could be better. Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Attempting to migrate to this from Karma Blocker (which I love) because of the Android compatibility. The basic functionality is there, but it's somewhat painful to have to restart the browser just to reload the regex file, or even to enable/disable the extension. Still, it's great to have something that works on Android. Thanks. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.0.11.6m.1-signed).
Five stars now. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
With the improvements in 0.7, this is now far and away my favorite QR code generator. Thanks! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.1-signed.1-signed). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Nice... works well, and fast. Rated 4 out of 5 stars
The only thing that I would like to see in a future version is maybe a tooltip or other way of displaying the encoded URL, which is a nice way of reassuring yourself that you grabbed what you intended to before bothering to scan with a phone. Also, the borders in 0.6.3 still appear in the UI color instead of white for me, although this didn't keep it from working in my case. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6.3.1-signed.1-signed).
Useful out-of-the-box. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I loved the idea of this add-on, and knew it would have the flexibility to do great things, but I was expecting the price for that flexibility to be a long session of creating rules. In reality, the default set is so effective that I still haven't gotten around to tweaking it very much, mostly just the weightings. Nice job! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.6.1-signed).
Convenient. Rated 4 out of 5 stars
One thing that I've always wanted in an extension like this is the ability to clear all cookies *except* for the current page domain. Handy for not being logged out of an email session... not sure if it could be implemented in this extension, though. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.1-signed).
