Easy access to everything Rated 5 out of 5 stars
It's the best speed dial for firefox if you ask me. there doesn't seem to be a lot of options but what you need is there, and the most important thing is that it loads very fast.
You can change the size of the boxes, or add extra boxes and have 50 or hundred sites on a tab all available at one click, but that wouldn't be so practical as it would be hard to find what you're looking for and beat the purpose of the add-on. Around 20 to 30 box addresses are optimal.
There's an option for sorting the boxes but the way you organize them will be best because you'll know where everything is.
You can install extra themes, but that way you will lose on speed.
Also there's an context menu entry Add to Fast Dial so you can add pages more easily.
All in all it does a great job keeping all you need close to a mouse click.
Awesome add-on for non-latin keyboard layouts Rated 5 out of 5 stars
It works flawlessly and it saves a lot of frustration for non-latin users.
As I am using a cyrillic keyboard layout along with the standard EN, I used to make a lot of Shift + Alt's to change layouts, but the most horrible, terrifying thing is when you don't and you've already entered a search term that looks like this "и кноњ њхат ѕоу дид ласт суммер“ or a web address like this "мовиедескбацк.блогспот.цом“ and then you would have to type it all over again.
With the add-on you can always use your primary keyboard layout for tweeting or chating with friends and when you need to search or go to a web address just start typing in the awesomebar and it's automatically latin letters.
One thing though, there should be instructions how to set it up to work with every keyboard layout. It's an easy set up but a lot of people seem to think it works out of the box, with no modification whatsoever.
Also it doesn't seem to recognize visited pages this way and auto-fill the address, but what it does is way beyond helpful to count this as a disadvantage.
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
It works exactly the way it suppose to work. I love it. It's for pages you open often and have flashy (eye blinding ads). It doesen't kill all ads just flash. Also you need to click the thumb down for the ad to disappear. It would be nice if you upgrade it to be usable with Firefox 3.1/3.5. I did it on my own just by changing the rdf file, but still. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.85).
works good on ubuntu Rated 4 out of 5 stars
it works great on Ubuntu, there are just some small issues, that are not that big a deal. (font too stretched, and when menus open/close, a tiny line under the tab nar appears/disappears)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1).
