Australis Small Icons - Revived

Flopped on My Computer Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Beginning with FireFox 44, several of the icons became huge: Home, Forget, Email Link, Pocket, and Hello. This add-on only failed to reduce any of them to the normal size. I'm very disappointed in it and in Mozilla for creating this problem.

Self-Destructing Cookies

Works, but Irritating on Firefox toolbar Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Excellent add-on that works as advertised. Very nice.
The major downsides are three-fold:
(1) If you place it in a toolbar, it insists on listing a slew of cookies and trackers it is dealing with. So the space on the toolbar for Self-Destructing Cookies expands to make it huge - you almost have to devote an entire toolbar to this one icon. There should be a way to simply have an icon for it on a toolbar without all of the cookies it is dealing with being listed.
(2) Even though the info on the add-on says you can place it in Firefox menus, I've been unable to do so. Maybe the add-on Menu Wizard is at fault.
(3) There seems to be no way to reach the developer, Ove, to tell him or her about this problem.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.9).

Extension List Dumper

Not working in FF 43.01 Rated 1 out of 5 stars

In FF 43.01 (Windows 10), this extension simply generates an empty box. I have no idea why. Very disappointed.

Extension List Dumper 2

Not working in FF 43.01 for me Rated 1 out of 5 stars

In FF 43.01, this extension simply generates an empty box. I have no idea why.

QuickFolders (Tabbed Folders)

Productivity Booster Rated 5 out of 5 stars

If you have a ton of folders in your email like I do (and after nearly 20 years of emails in my business, there are a lot of folders), QuickFolders is a godsend. It saves a lot of time to just click on a tab for a folder to go there instantly. Thank you for creating such an incredibly useful add-on.

AddressBookTab

Causes A Problem in Address Book Rated 2 out of 5 stars

If you install AddressBookTab, it will screw up the contact pane in your address book. Namely, when you highlight a contact in your address book, the contact pane will not display the contact's information -- it will remain blank -- at least in TBird 14.0.

Except for this serious defect, this add-on works just fine.

IE Tab

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

IE TAB does not work with FireFox 3.6.

Whenever I go to a website that requires me to use IE Tab 1.5.20090525(latest
version), I get a totally black window in FireFox 3.6. The tab shows that it is
still loading while in the lower left corner of the bottom bar of FireFox it
says "Done." This happens with every website with which I use IE Tab. I can
switch the rendering engine back to FireFox and the site comes up fine in FF.
But switching back to IE8 turns the window black again. IE Tab worked just fine in FF 3.57.

The alternative I've found is Coral IE Tab which works in FF 3.6.

Menu Editor

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Compatibility Issues?

Menu Editor 1.2.6 is a wonderful add-on, but it seems to have caused the Smart Location Bar in FF 3.56 to malfunction -- namely typing an URL into it and hitting return does nothing. And typing anything anywhere in FF slows down. Disabling Menu Editor solves both problems. Following advice I found somewhere, I reinstalled Menu Editor and the smart location bar works, but typing is still problematical. However, disabling Menu Editor solves all problems -- and since you're not likely to be editing your menus very often, this seems like a good solution. Most likely there is some conflict with another add-on, but the troubleshooting would be just too time consuming to undertake.
