Switched from ABP to µBlock earlier today and already fell in love with it!
I love the built in element hider, how way more efficient it is (browser is way less sluggish), the easy to get to menu to manually allow/disallow sites, and the way the filter lists are set up!
Works exactly as it should, however, having a blacklist (like in NoScript) would make things easier over time, since it would be quicker to white list addresses that are safe, instead of having to look between the unsafe addresses every time.
Simple, easy to use, does what it has to do without any issues or any other clutter. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.1-signed).
It works great most of the time, and does exactly what it says it does.
There are two things you could improve.
It would be great with manual website filtering (although it seems you're adding that, so that's a big plus), and there's also a strange bug where the addon just stops working after some time, and only a browser restart makes it work again. (Currently on FF beta 15.0)
I'm not sure what the cause of it is as I can't seem to notice anything unusual (or something I rarely do) when it stops working.
Thanks for the reply!
Keeps elements easily visible, isn't too flashy or distracting. love the graph paper style in the background.
Stopped working after a recent update. Makes Google complain about the URL being too big for it to process on most pictures.
Also had to manually view image then "search by image for Google" for it to work on a lot of sites, or else it would pick another hidden element and image search that instead.
Works great, no problems at all.
Only thing that could be done better, is if you could choose whether you get switched to the new tab on search or let it stay in the background.
