My Reviews

Youtube.com player Resize

Not working Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A great idea and improved YouTube no end. However, it has stopped working now on all my computers so I guess YouTube has changed its design.
Shame...

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (initial_version.rev105).

ScrapBook Plus

v1.8.20.34 Rated 4 out of 5 stars

For some bizarre reason this version changes the height of tabs (tabbrowser-tabs class) to 20px instead of 26.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8.20.34).

IE Tab V2 (Enhanced IE Tab)

Roboform doesn't work Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Using FF5 and Roboform 7. The latter doesn't work at all. The only reason I have this add-on is so I can access sites where financial transactions forms aren't compatible with Firefox (Visa for instance). Without Roboform it's a pain and I might as well load up IE8.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.5.9.1).

ErrorZilla Plus

Great but... Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A great extension but ping doesn't work any more.
netError.js should be amended with this in const tools section:

"Ping": "http://dns-tools.domaintools.com/ip-tools/?query=" + window.content.location.hostname + "&method=ping" ,

While I'm at it I also prefer:

"Trace": "http://dns-tools.domaintools.com/ip-tools/?query=" + window.content.location.hostname + "&method=traceroute",

Grab and Drag

Dots around window Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm really hating the dots around the window when you click on the background. Only happens when there are scroll bars.

Download Scheduler

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very useful to get 3GB Garmin Map Updates, even 100MB AV update files without going over my ISP download limit.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.1).

TB Properties

No context menus Rated 2 out of 5 stars

In TB3 it causes the context menus for items in the thread pane and right-clicking in the message window to disappear (well in fact they are 2 pixel x 2 pixel squares and empty).
Sorry.

Good work Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thank you Jason, the zoom bug conflict with "Grab & Drag" extension is now fixed, the status bar pop-up dialog also fixed. Good work, well done!

Googlebar Lite

Well done! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I've been using Googlebar but this is neater, more compact, up-to-date and the search history works.
But I do miss a button for a global google.com search and one for my country, i.e.UK. When I'm looking for thing to buy, using my country search is invaluable.

all the best

Menu Mod

Order Rated 3 out of 5 stars

I wanted something to replace the buggy Menu Editor. This looked promising but you can't change the order of menu items (particularly important in the context menu), and so for me, it doesn't fit the bill.
