My Reviews

Inspect Context

Extremely Helpful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This add-on has been an essential tool for me for Firefox add-on development, web development in general, and for my own personal Firefox customizations and tweaking.
Inspecting context and other types of menus used to mean looking at the page source, style sheets, etc, but now I have one click, quick access.

Thanks for developing it.
Your time and efforts are greatly appreciated.

Go-Mobile [Speed Boost]

Nice Work Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hey this is a good idea and I appreciate that it's restartless.

One thing that would help to make it even better is to force a page reload when toggling between user agents.
NoScript and Cookie Monster are a few that have this feature. Perhaps you could grab the coding from one of them.
If I knew how, I'd tell you. :)

Thanks for developing this.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.1).

Rainbowpicker

I love it Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'm using this in Thunderbird and it's greatly appreciated.

I've been trying to find an easy way to customize my (Lightning) calendar colors because the color picker provided has a very limited amount of colors and most of them I don't care for, but now I can use any color that I desire.

Sincere thanks for your time, work, and effort put into developing this add-on.

Firefox OS 1.1 Simulator

Awesome Add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a great way for anyone to peak into the future a bit and explore the upcoming Firefox OS (which rocks).

Thanks for developing it.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).

Stacked Inspector

Excellent Rated 5 out of 5 stars

The only thing that I'm disappointed about is that I hadn't installed this sooner especially considering that it's been around for a long time.

I love it.
I use a large font size for the DOM Inspector and in order to see the full path and/or value, I have to either drag the divider over to the left to reveal it, or squint to read it in the tooltip.
It's also just a much better way to view and interact with the DOM Inspector.

Thanks for developing it.

Layout Plan (Menu on Titlebar)

Thanks! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hey I really like this add-on, a lot. I might even love it.
I use MenuBar on Titlebar and now I can customize the Titlebar.
For one I use,
#appmenu-button {
display: none!important;
}
and then force the menubar over to the left with a large value for margin-right. If there's a better way, I'd like to do that, but perhaps you can add an option to hide the appmenu-button and move the menubar over to its position, or, just do it by default when a user selects MenuBar on Titlebar.
There's no need for the app button with the menubar showing.

Thanks sincerely for developing this.

WDT(Web Developer tools) - toolbar button

Stolen Add-on Rated 1 out of 5 stars

It's insulting and outrageous for you to take someone's extension, make very minor changes to it, and then pass it off as your own.
This add-on uses my add-on's coding, graphics, and styling. Most of it, line for line.
Web Developer Tools - toolbar button 0.9.5

I do use an open license, but that doesn't mean that you can change an icon, the name (slightly), add a locale, and then call it yours. Especially without any credit whatsoever to me or to any developer who's coding that you use.

I would have gladly worked with you to add your locale to my add-on and given you full credit for it.
I may still be willing to do that if you take down this add-on immediately.
Not because it competes with mine, but because it is essentially mine.

Add-on Toolbarbutton

Very Clever Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a great, unique, and useful add-on.

Thanks for developing it.

ImgViewerPlus

Nicely done Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a sharp add-on. It really enhances and brings to life an otherwise static and plain image viewing experience.

Great work.
Thanks for developing it.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1).

lmnpop

Really cool Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I love this add-on.
A very nice feature to expand its functionality, appeal, and user base would be the ability to bookmark popped out objects.

Thank you for developing this.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (20120518).

Add-ons Manager Context Menu

Very useful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great features for those that love add-ons and work with them often.
I especially like being able to go directly to an add-on's files.

Thanks for developing it.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.0.20120504.01).

Magnifier

Cool add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very cool and useful.

Thanks for developing it.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3).

Feature Page Tweaks

Cool idea Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I like this, a lot, it's clever.

One thought, it would be nice to have some sort of indicator (arrow, etc) displayed when sections are hidden.
Not a lot, but some pages (like drafts) only have headings and after using this for awhile on many pages, remembering what the user has hidden may be difficult.

Thanks for developing it.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.1-signed).

Base64 Encoder

Thanks Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This feature in Stylish isn't working for me for some reason so I'm very grateful for this add-on. Plus, sometimes I need this function for things not pertaining to userstyles.

Screen Draw

Cool and Simple Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hey thanks for developing this.
It works great and will come in handy.

When it's first installed and a user opens the Customize Toolbar window to add the Screen Draw toolbar button, all that is shown is the the text for it and after dragging it to a toolbar, no icon is shown until it's clicked.
That can be fixed with the following.

#screendraw-toolbarbutton {
list-style-image: url("chrome://screendraw/skin/statusbarbutton_disabled.png");
cursor:pointer;
}
Or whatever image you want.

You use screendraw-toolbarbutton for the toolbar button's id in the xulref.xul, but in the style.css, there's no image associated with it.

I'm by no means an add-on developer pro, far, far, from it and could use help.
I just wanted to figure out the button issue to learn from it and this is what I came up with.

Foxy Detective

Awesome Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I've always wanted to be able to inspect popups and menu items more quickly and easily and now I can.

Thanks for developing this very cool add-on.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.4).

Stratini Super

Nicely done Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This has some really cool features.
I especially like the old Add-ons manager design.

Thanks for developing it.
