These add-ons riff on + extend the "tab groups" concept introduced in FF4. While finding the most effective ways to integrate this feature into my workflow, I watch for relevant add-ons.
Unload inactive tabs, save resources.
Collector's Note How does Panorama deal with tab groups you haven't opened yet (per session), with regards to memory? Shamefully, I don't yet know the answer to that question so 'UnloadTab' may be an essential addition.
Transforms "List All Tabs" menu to do closing, loading, unloading, moving of single/multiple tabs. Search tab titles or *content* (remember "Find In Tabs"?), visited tabs history, find duplicate tabs - very helpful for mega-tab users. And more...
Vertical Tabs for Firefox with a space-efficient native look & feel.
Rethinking Firefox Tab Groups. Create and manage tab groups in a side-by-side list-view interface. Drag and drop tabs to move to different groups, search for tabs by title or content in current or all groups. Close tabs single or multiple.
Tab Group Switcher modifies the default button for the tab groups and adds a new one. The extension makes the switching through tab groups a lot easier.
Automatically group tabs for Firefox Panorama by patterns.
Collector's Note Extending the chunk idiom, this is a big chunk of 'what Snaporama needs'.
Since FF4 Panorama has enabled you to visually organize tabs into groups. See video here: http://mni.su/pp3p09. This extension adds the tab group name to your window title so you know which group you are using. Feedback is welcome. Enjoy!
EN: With Tab Groups icon shows the number of groups.
PL: Przy ikonie Grupy kart pokazuje liczbę grup.
Make 'Open in Tabs' replace existing tabs, like it was in Firefox 2.
Collector's Note This could make the workflow with Snaporama be a little more helpful by swapping out current tabs with the saved tabs.
Keep your tabs organized by taking snapshots of groups of tabs and quickly bringing them back when you need them.
Collector's Note This is a huge chunk of 'what Panorama needs', even though it may be a somewhat flawed implementation.
