This is the only one that works for my Yahoo Mail Rated 2 out of 5 stars
I don't know why, but none of the other mail-notifier extensions work for my Yahoo Mail account, but this one does. Great! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).
very nice but.... Rated 4 out of 5 stars
it would be nice to be able to use secure logon for gmail like the gmail manager/notifier extensions do. secure logon for hotmail should also be possible since the site supports it. other than that, very nice. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).
It rocks Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I mainly use Gmail so I use Gmail Manager for that but I have a few other accounts and I decided to test this "Universal" Webmail Extension and yeah it is great ;) I'll sure to check it if I need it later :PThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).
I Love This Extension Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Thank you for this extension. It is great. My eyesight is not good and if there is anyway you could color the envelope in the status bar a bright color it would really help. I rate this a 10.
Indespensible Extension Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Exceptionally usefull add-in for checking mail accounts. The only thing missing in totally replacing an email client is the ability to have mailto: links open the compose page of your provider. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.4).
Great Concept!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
this is must 'ave if you use email. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8).
Must be Live Hotmail Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I was getting beans - until I switched my regular Hotmail account over to the new Live Hotmail. Then the alerts started working. Other folks might be making that mistake.
I'm a little concerned about the security. I would love to see an option called "Automatically Log In" so I have the option to go to the Hotmail login screen instead of directly to the email (with a "confirm password" prompt when it's set).
Great extension, overall.
Thank you for this Rated 4 out of 5 stars
It's a great extension, but I would love the possibility to give the default account a name. I have more than one account at the same provider.
Also it would be great if the account name with new mail was in bold when right clicking the icon.
Possible new features Rated 4 out of 5 stars
- reset count to 0 when clicked
- site-specific icons in the status bar (maybe rotating if I have new emails in different accounts
- site-specific icons in the right-click menu, with a count of new emails (that is, instead of "open yahoo" would be nicer to see the yahoo! icon and a number "3 new emails")
Near Perfection Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I had to revert to the old version since I have over 4000 unread emails in my archive. The old one only lists unread in your INBOX which is exactly what I need.
Old version(1.0.2): 10
New version(1.0.3): 5
Great but needs....... Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Great concept and good execution but needs not to be restricted to single user for each email provider. Most, like myself, have multiple Hotmail, Gmail and/or Yahoo accounts (to name the popular ones). Otherwise it works great for me.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.3).
Bad Rated 1 out of 5 stars
I tested just now .the result is disappoiting. I had adjusted the interval time to 0 as instructed but there is no update for new incoming mail unless you pressing "check now". It means that the extension will never automatically show incoming mail at all.
second, when i open the new mail the extension will never toggle and always show there is a new mail. It means that it will not change mail status automatically with the conditions. very unworthy of installing. sorry for a little harsh comment.
But it's really nothing.
Great Addon Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Great Addon, but we want more, snip of the upcoming email, like yahoo messenger and multible email checkThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.2).
Good but... Rated 2 out of 5 stars
You should add at least the most famous pop3/imap servers...like yahoo or excite...
