TL;DR - This plugin is not worth the money you have to spend, find and alternative.

This was such a great plugin for thunderbird, very very useful as TB by default doesn't provide exchange support, but the monetization on the plugin is way to heavy. That is, a yearly license at $10 Per email address. If this was $10 a year for as many addresses as liked this would be fine, but for on a per address basis this is dreadful. Not to mention never seeing any other plugins for TB or Firefox needing licenses, I'm not sure what the dev was thinking. For a student running Linux and a FOSS advocate I'm being forced to leave not only exquilla but Thunderbird behind because I need MS exchange support for my studies. Not to mention never seeing any other plugins for TB or Firefox needing licenses, I'm not sure what the dev was thinking. Will now be moving to DavMail. I hope the dev sees the error in his not very thought out monetisation plans. Over all the plugin is good, but I doubt you will be seeing many users at all with the license system you have set up.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (24.5.3).

"If this was $10 a year for as many addresses as liked this would be fine" That is indeed the license model of ExQuilla.
