Great add-on, hope message header button appears again one day Rated 4 out of 5 stars
My default is plain text mails. Because many others often send html mails, this add-on is very useful to view them without changing my default reading style. To load the remote contents, you've still to click on "show remote content", which requires another click on a different location on screen.
Since the merger between Thunderbird and Thunderbird esr (24.2.0) and up I miss the message header button of this add-on, only the other tool bar buttons are available to me yet.
Folders dragged occasionally in itsself are lost! Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I used this very nice add-on for years now.
Organizing the search entries in subfolders is a great help for me. Renaming a search engine is also a great feature.
When you occasionally drag a folder into itsself - it's lost forever with all of its items!!! There is no chance from the GUI to undo that!!!
This happens only rarely when clicking... but it happens!!!
When you've made a backup of "organize-search-engines.rdf" in your profile folder you may restore this file after you've closed firefox. But only in case you backup this file frequently.
Hope the author wil fix that "deadlock" use. Then I will return using it immediately!
Showcase 0.9.5.8 works great with Firefox 10 (ESR) and 11 by just disabling its cache option Rated 5 out of 5 stars
After updating from Firefox 3.6.28 to 10 (ESR) I got many crashes (also for Firefox 11) and after a view hours I was so disappointed that I just restored my system from the hard drive images I made before.
But I read Firefox 3.6.28 is end-of-life and therefore I tried Firefox 10 (ESR) again and enabled one plugin after the other and located that Showcase caused these many crashes.
I asked Josep for help and he told me this is a Firefox bug, NOT a Showcase issue.
To make Showcase working fine with Firefox 10 (ESR) too, you just go to Showcase options, select the advanced tab and DISABLE the topmost cache option.
This is Firefox 10 (ESR):
This is the Firefox bug causing the crashes:
