In a little more detail...
The Access Firefox Project provides accessibility tools and resources for Firefox end users with visual impairments, and for those without the best visual acuity.
While Access Firefox is not an official Mozilla project, nor is it affiliated with the Mozilla Foundation or Mozilla Corporation, it was created, and is maintained by volunteers from several different Mozilla communities.
Add-on developers (for both themes and extensions) are always needed to create new accessibility related add-ons and to help maintain and update older ones.
We also welcome Firefox accessibility content writers/contributors.
We've recently started creating add-ons for Thunderbird as seen below.
Please contact Ken Saunders at AccessFirefox . org if you are interested in contributing to the project.
Add-ons I've created
Theme Font & Size Changer No Restart Featured
Theme Font & Size Changer lets you change the global font size and font family used for the user interface in Firefox. Design your browser with your favorite font.
Zoom in, zoom out, and reset page zoom with one toolbar button (saves toolbar space). Zoom by clicking on the button, or by rolling the mouse wheel.
Zoom in, zoom out, and reset zoom with one toolbar button. Works in the Compose window too.
Large, colorful 64x64px toolbar buttons for Firefox.
Forces all/any toolbar button icons to be displayed at 38x38 pixels (instead of the default 20x20 pixels). Small icons are displayed at their default size. Works with nearly all themes.
Aesthetically Wonderful and Helpful Rated 5 out of 5 stars
To the best of my knowledge, HiVis Large (known as HiVisGnome Big initially) was the very first theme created with persons without the best visual acuity in mind, and it is the only one of its kind that has been consistently maintained for nearly four years straight spanning versions of Firefox from 1.4 to 3.5.
It's a great looking theme and very helpful for many who would have to struggle to interact visually with Firefox without it, or have to use text only options instead of using graphical interactive elements.
On behalf of Access Firefox and the many who are benefiting from HiVis Large, thank you sincerely.
Great Job! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Nice, clean, fun theme. It should become quite popular. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.3).
Fantatsic! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Great work on creating this.
I used use a custom user style bookmarklet (generator by Jesse Ruderman) to quickly change page colors but for some reason, it stop working. Could be an extension conflict but your add-on works great and provides quick customization options.
I'd love to see a toolbar button perhaps with a drop down to access the other color options mostly for the fact that this add-on will be very useful for persons with visual impairments and so accessing your add-on through a toolbar button would be easier.
All in all, it's an awesome add-on. I sincerely appreciate your effort and time that you put into it.
Very Helpful Rated 5 out of 5 stars
The WAVE Toolbar identified an accessibility error that I had on my web site that didn't show up through traditional validation methods.
You can imagine and appreciate the importance of that for me as the owner of a web site who's main purpose is to promote Internet accessibility through Firefox tools and resources.
It will surely be added to our list of recommended Firefox accessibility add-ons.

Fantastic! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I had been searching for new ways to handle my bookmarks in Fx 3 since the old multi-row bookmarks toolbar userChrome.css tweak doesn't work in Fx 3, but thanks to your extension, I now have multiple rows of bookmarks in Fx 3.
Thank you very much. Great work!
