My Reviews

Secure Or Not

mixed Rated 5 out of 5 stars

once upon a time I used a Stylish (extension) style to change the "awesome"bar [location] color. One color for no-ssl. A second color [yellow] for SSL. A third color [red] for mixed security: some SSL content and some not-SSL content

please consider implementing these color options, or image overlay [as data URI]

Invert Input

interesting 'twist' on form input Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Perhaps you and the Lazarus extension developer can work together to allow the user to indicate when not to retain element content modified by your extension

Lazarus: Form Recovery

cannot trust firefox to hold draft composition in form element.... CAN trust lazarus Rated 5 out of 5 stars

No longer is it necessary to compose replies OUTSIDE firefox prior to submission.

Don't let firefox screw you as badly: lazarus allows text form elements be used for draft/composition

Mozilla foundation still cannot be bothered to create code to manage feature conflicts amongst extensions but still has the audacity to call such the addons manager.

I don't much trust the mozilla foundation especially with their bestiality relationship with google.

I do trust this extension to keep me from shouting in anger when firefox crashes mid-composition

Text Link

piro text link is the *best* linkification implementation for firefox Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Piro has a great many fantastic extensions on AMO... some oddly stuck in sandhellbox.

Firefox tabs is horrible without Piro's Tree Style Tab

Wow AMOe have this extension FEATURED. I need to go catch some flying pigs.

Web of Trust - WOT

wot is #FAIL : direct-democracy hurts Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Pervasive are the defective ideologies of the 'love the rock upon which we live more than humans' and the anarchist types who disrupt the peace in the name of parasitical 'progress' and those demented by subjective reality.

Trust that?

Adblock Plus

Shame on you, Wladimir Palant, for allowing EVIL ads by default WITHOUT user consent Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Wladimir Palant has added a "feature" that allows EVIL ads by default. The average user is not going to know to open preferences and uncheck a box that should NOT default to being checked in the first place.

Allowing ads is ANTITHETICAL to adblocking!!

yes, duh!!

This "feature" ***OUGHT*** to seek user-consent EACH time the extension is installed- or "upgraded"

I have switched to using adblock LITE: it is a fork, a copy of this extension without the EVIL allow garbage

Shame, SHAME, S-H-A-M-E !!!

My Security Search Bar

GET requests are still exposed in URL per se! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Working towards privacy is a great idea and MUST HAVE. But until those sites which wish to cater to the privacy minded cease pandering and actually-not-reveal search terms AS part of the URL SSL is of VERY LITTLE value

To further enhance privacy devalue yourself to evil engines like google who profit BY privacy violation. Install the "Track Me NOT" firefox extension to have it conduct interweb searches on your behalf.

Privacy is an arms race... once the sheeple are awakened to the DANGER the pro-privacy army grows all the stronger.

great idea would be great as userscript also Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Please keep updated with alleged "major" versions of firefox.

For more portability please consider cross-releasing to for use with either greasemonkey or scriptish in firefox. ;)

Link Password

link password has interesting potential Rated 3 out of 5 stars

needs to have *optional* salt. Without salt encrypted URL can be shared by email or forum. With extension generated salt then no, but with user specified salt yes.
