Not working with current Youtube site. Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Hi. There seem to be people thinking that this plugin stopped working with the latest Firefox version, but the real issue is the youtube site itself. Recent changes have left this plugin non-functional for the most part. 1. Auto or forced buffering no longer works. 2. Except for switching to full-screen, auto resolution changing still happens even when deselected. 3. "Sometimes" when loading pages, the video plays automatically. I've confirmed these youtube changes have also rendered several yt grease monkey scripts ineffective as well. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.976.1-signed.1-signed).

Even when the Free Download Manager lagged behind in its plugin development, Flashgot allowed me to keep using it.
Best flash download plugin for Firefox Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Nice. Does exactly what it says. Unlike DownloadHelper, this has never had problems with *.webm videos. I just wish it had the ability to send the downloads to Flashgot instead of the default Firefox downloader. Thanks for this awesome plugin! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (18.104.22.168-signed).
A ways to go... Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Doesn't work with RTMP protected streams, but I guess it's not the plugin's fault. It'd also be great if it could integrate with flashgot. I'd rather use my own download manager.
Great, but the standard web video type is in transition. Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I've used this plugin forever, so I wanted to say thank you.
Other than that, the html5 support is a bit lacking. There are even pages popping up on youtube that only have webm streams.
