Download Manager (S3)

Nice add-on, but not for netbooks! Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Unfortunately, I had to replace the "Download Status Bar", because of some FF freezes, probably caused by it (on Linux Mint 17.1 MATE).
So, I found your "Download Manager (S3)".
I really like this add-on, but could you please add a scrollbar to the settings pages?
Without this, some of the add-on's options are inaccessible on little netbooks, where there's only a small display resolution of 1024x600 pixels available.
Because if this, the entire settings window must not be larger than the mentioned values.
A window not larger than 1024x576 would be even better, if you take 24 pixels for the system's taskbar into account.

FireGestures

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Great add-on! But if you have no more than one tab open and accidently use the gesture for "close tab", the whole FF will close, too. I would very much like to have an option to stop this from happening.

All-in-One Gestures

Great add-on! There's only one feature I'm missing. When there's only one tab left, the gesture "close this tab" should be disabled (at least as an option), to prevent Firefox from closing accidently.

FireTray

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Sorry folks, to me this add-on looks quite buggy. On my Linux Mint 16 MATE with an HP all-in-one network printer (6700 Premium) installed, this add-on prevents the tray icon of the HPLIP-GUI package from appearing at system's start up. With this add-on disabled, the mentioned icon does appear always.
Could you have a look at this please?
Or maybe, if you could add an adjustable(!) delay to make sure the HP-icon will load BEFORE this add-on and accordingly TB get loaded, please?

Advanced Cookie Manager

I see two identical "CM" icons in the "Customize toolbar" window
(where you can add or remove icons to or from the tool bar).
How come?
One should be enough, shouldn't it?

Download Status Bar

Please, look at the settings, before asking for already existing features Rated 5 out of 5 stars

@ESE150
What you're asking for does exist already.
You can set all filetypes you want and you can also set a delay.
If you set a "*" (without the quotes!), all filetypes will disappear.

@ Szalgiris
Just like I said before: Great job! Thank you very much!

But the latest strings of new versions often remain untranslated because you're just a little bit too fast with your releases. ;)
Could you please wait a while until the latest translations are available for you on Babelzilla? So, you would be able to always use the latest version of those language files.

@ Polecat
This feature does exist already.
In the settings of this add-on, just make sure,
you've enabled the 3rd option in the settings tab and below this
you've added a * and, let's say a 5 seconds delay.

Download Status Bar

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I like this add-on very much, as it is a great replacement for the old one.
Like other users have already posted, I also would like to see a hover effect to access the download and connection data.
But hey, it is still being developed and will have one or two features added in the upcoming versions for sure.
So, just be patient, folks! ;)
Since I don't think anymore, we will ever see a 2.0 of the old add-on, I thank Szalgiris very much for his work he has done so far, in only two weeks.

@ Rogério
Why would Mozilla officially verify this add-on, if it wasn't to be trusted?
You can absolutely trust this add-on.
Please, note the difference in counting.
This is NOT 2.0 of the old add-on!
This is 2.0.0 of the new add-on and most likely, it will have a higher number in a few days anyway.
Besides, this add-on is called "Download Status Bar".
The old one was called "Download Statusbar".

PDF Download

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

The "Open PDF"-feature of this add-on doesn't work anymore for FF18 on XP Home SP3.
Instead, clicking that button will lead only to an empty new tab.
Please have a look at this issue!

In case you want to reproduce it:
I 've set the current "SumatraPDF" to be my default PDF reader in FF18.
I did that in the settings of this add-on.
In the "Applications" section of the FF settings, I've set "Adobe Acrobat Documents" to "Always ask".
My default PDF reader for the whole system is still the "Adobe Reader".
These are the settings that used to work fine before FF18 was released.

SmartVideo For YouTube

As long as it is enabled, this addon prevents me from accessing my router. The GUI of my router says that Javascript was required, but Javascript is enabled already and working great on all other pages.
Please have a look at this issue...

Searchbar Autosizer

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

2.0.15 is perfect, now, for both ordinary computers AND netbooks.

I added some missing strings to the german local files.
If you would like to have these files, please tell me,
how to send them to you.

Searchbar Autosizer

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

2.0.14 is ok now for ordinary computers (Thanks for the fix!), but the settings window of this add-on is too big for netbooks with a resolution of 1024x600, where there's no different resolution available.
Therefore, it's very hard to reach the OK or Cancel button of that window.

@kumarakshay

This doesn't make the add-on work.
Just because this add-on can be installed after editing the max version, doesn't mean, the add-on will work again.
It still does not!!!
The only chance to use this addon is to have the portable version of an old FF3.6.x. with this add-on installed.

IT'S AN ABSOLUTE SHAME, after ONE AND A HALF YEAR(!!!), still NOBODY on this f...reaking planet is capable of updating this add-on. :(((((

All-in-One Sidebar

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A few months ago, I had some issues using this add-on, and I promised you more stars for a fixed version. Here they are.
Sorry, for the huuuuge delay. ;)

Searchbar Autosizer

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Searchbar Autosizer 2.0.13 doesn't work at all in FF16.0.1 on XP Home SP3.
According to the message I get while opening the settings of the Searchbar Autosizer within the add-on list of FF, there must be something wrong with the prefs.xul in the chrome folder of the add-on.
The message says: "Not defined entity in line 5, column 1".
As for now, I downgraded to 2.0.11, which is perfectly ok (well, as long as you don't mind the settings being english and localized at the same time).
More stars to come after the fix will be available.

EDIT:
I'm on a german system.
Maybe I could fix this myself if you tell me what string is to be translated.

All-in-One Sidebar

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Seems like this extension needs some maintenance urgently, because after you've edited the toolbar
on top of FF13.x (i.e. removing or adding some icons) there's a strange and very annoying bar on the left of a currently displayed web page.
It's most obvious, if you've got the Noia 4 theme installed, because you can see a tiled bar on the left, but it happens with all themes, even with the default theme of FF.

It doesn't disappear until you restart FF.

It doesn't happen with the AIO-Sidebar disabled or uninstalled.

I'm on XP Home SP3, btw. ...

More stars to come for a fixed version.

Advanced Cookie Manager

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Nice add-on, but ico files inside the xpi should have another color,
because the black "CM" in the status bar becomes invisible on some darker FF themes.

Just for those who want to help themselves, like me:
Extract those two ico files from the xpi (after renaming it into zip, temporarily),
change the color to "Olive" by means of "IcoFXPortable" and put the edited files back into the xpi.
Those files, both of them are called "CookieMgr.ico", are located in...
chrome/icons/default
...and in...
chrome/content
...of the archive.
Don't forget to rename the zip back into xpi in the end and
install it just like any other xpi (over the existing installation).

Noia 4 -discontinued-

1.6.9.2 - Great theme! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Seems like I posted my previous comment too spontaneously.

I suddenly had a tiled background within my FF sidebar on my netbook, but not on my desktop machine.

Now, the theme is ok on both my desktop computer and my netbook (both of them running XP Home SP3).

After some examinations on the netbook, I found the localstore.rdf to be currupted for some unknown reasons.
Copying that file from the desktop machine to the netbook was the solution.

The second issue (two 'Close' buttons in the add-on install dialog) doesn't actually exist. I simply wasn't aware of the two different things those buttons are supposed to do.

I officially apologize for my wrong comment about this theme being broken.

Here are the five stars back again, now. :)

Noia 4 -discontinued-

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

'Noia 4' v.1.6.9 and above is badly broken.

1st issue:
There's a tiled background in the sidebar of FF behind the icons (I've got FF11 on XP Home SP3).
As for now, the only solution is downgrading 'Noia 4' to v.1.6.8.1.

2nd issue:
The 'Restart FF' dialog while installing or updating an add-on is showing two 'Close' buttons
(= red dot behind white cross) if theme is set to 'Noia 4'.
This 2nd issue can't be solved by the mentioned downgrade, though.

Guess, I'll be back with more stars after a fixed version of 'Noia 4' is released.

Now, FF11 (in words: ELEVEN!!!!) is out and still no update of this extension.
So...
...WTF IS THE ARCHVIEW UPDATE, NOW?????
... Or at least a comment about what's going on here.

Somebody, pleeeeeease, stand up and get this extension updated!!!!!!!

The only way to still use this extension is to run an old portable FF3.x.x, next to the latest locally installed one.
But such a crappy workaround can't be a permanent solution.

As long as there's no update, I'm not willing to give more stars than I absolutely need to be able to sent my comment.
