Wow! Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I've been hunting for months for an add-on to hide distracting areas of my favourite websites. Most irritations are covered by NoScript and AdblockPlus, but some annoying images and text slip through.
Just half an hour's use of RIP has me hooked! It was easy enough to choose the settings to permanently cleaned up my two main news websites. Unlike some earlier reviews, my exeperience is that after closing and re-opening Firefox, the cleanup is still in effect.

I've been looking on and off for years for this functionality. Thanks so much!
It needs a bit of guidance on how to use e.g. need to highlight a bookmark using cursor or right-click and the tree appears in the lower half of the sidebar.

The other IE plugin I've been using for years wouldn't auto-switch anymore, so I came searching for an alternative. I'm glad I did - it's much better: does correct auto-switch, has Ad-block (fantastic!) and responds to regular Firefox keys. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.5.1-signed).

Just what I've been looking for. I've used personalised fonts for years. However, recently Yahoo Mail changed to use fonts to show icons (eg for inbox, drafts, spam, etc)... which looks gobbledegook when replaced with personsalised fonts. This add-on lets me specify that mail.yahoo.com can choose it's own font, while I still benefit from my font choices on all other sites.
Add-on Enhancement Suggestion: Create an "Exclude Font" option where we can capture font names to exclude from replacement. That way we can force all regular text on a page to use personalised fonts while leaving unchanged the special fonts used for icons.
I admit that I'm not sure myself how to figure out the fontname that Yahoo Mail is using for icons - in order to be able to enter that in the "Exclude Font" option!
Good - could be better Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Great idea and simple to use.
1) I have multiple Wish Lists at a single Amazon site. When adding, the drop down box only ever offers the default 'Wish List' name instead of the actually lists I have. On clicking, I'm pushed into the Amazon site where I can choose the particular list. That is a pain if you're adding lots of items. I'd expect the drop-down to present the actual wish list names I have so I don't have to go into Amazon site until I'm ready to compare products .
2) For sites where there is a price excl VAT and another incl VAT, the "excl VAT" price is always pre-filled into the panel. I'd like to be able to set options so that it's always incl VAT selected.

Brilliant - it's working again! It was one of my favourite add-ons but stopped working months back when Firefox upgraded to a new version. I eventually uninstalled this add-on. I've just re-installed and it works perfectly. I'd suggest you try un-install and re-install this add-on.This user has a previous review of this add-on.
A favourite Add-On Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This is a fatantastic add-on - thanks!.
If possible, the following functionality around the 'open all Google images' option (which I use mostly) would be really helpful:
1. Reduce key/mouse actions by dropping the 'Enter the page number' dialogue box and always show page 1.
2. On the resultant page showing all Google images, indicate how many pages there are and where we are. Include a link/button top and bottom (or at least at bottom) to go to next/previous page or jump to a particular page number.
