Aniweather Display Icons Not Holding Position in Firefox 29 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

After "upgrading" to Firefox 29.0.1, I could not get the aniweather display icons to stick to the right corner of the menu bar... it kept moving to the left side. This was solved, by uninstalling it and then re-installing it again.

The Addon Bar (Restored)

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thanks so much... it works perfectly again after disappearing when I upgraded to Firefox 29.0.1. I expected better from Firefox who built their reputation on the user's ability to customize things to their liking then they remove this tool bar without even giving users the option of using it for some of their add-ons. I am getting disillusioned with Firefox changing things so often and not giving options to re-instate tools we have grown used to. Regardless, thanks to Geek-in-Training for this!

Switch Private Browsing

Works Great Rated 5 out of 5 stars

When Toggle Private Browsing stopped working with FF20, I tried this and it works perfectly with one click. As long as the search bar is grey, you know you are in private browsing mode. One quick click takes it back to normal browsing. Thanks for this handy tool.

Easy YouTube Video Downloader

Skip This! Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This used to work great but now you either don't connect or wait forever. If you do stick it out and get a connection, and manage to get a file converted and downloaded, all you get now is a file with 0 bytes!! If you like to listen to silence that is great but there are other add-ons out there that do what they are supposed to. Skip this and save your time and money!

Video Downloader Plus

Great! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I tried this add-on after giving up on Easy Youtube Video Downloader 4.1 (downloads ended up with 0 bytes and eventually stopped even connecting) and was impressed with the results. It seemed a little confusing at first and took a couple of trial mp3 downloads to figure out exactly how to do it but from then on, it went smoothly. Once converted, the files were extremely quick to appear in my download location ready to be re-named and added to playlists.

Toggle Private Browsing

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I really missed this handy tool when I upgraded to FF4 and it would be nice if it had been upgraded by the author. However, I did open up the install.rdf file with Notepad ++ and changed the one line to <em:maxVersion>4.0.0*</em:maxVersion>" as some others have suggested and it now works perfectly in FF4 as it did before in older versions of FF3.
