Does what it says on the tin, and then more you never wanted Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Conceptually this is a good idea, and it will certain load up proceeding pages on most sites, but how the finished result looks and works varies very substantially by site, and you are consistently prompted throughout your browsing to add instructions for AutoPager. It would not be a good idea for those with slower network connections to install this add-on, sometimes it will repeat the same page rather than loading the next one, and the interface does have a somewhat clunky feel to it; however, if you really want this particular functionality, do give it a try. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.1.0.1-signed.1-signed).
Great idea without widespread application Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This would be a really useful tool if more sites would get behind the CC standards, but as it is, the only times you ever seem to see this add-on in action is when you're on a site like Creative Commons Search, where the additional information is not remotely useful.
Complete your Firefox experience Rated 5 out of 5 stars
My only serious bugbear with most versions of Firefox has been the "Downloads" window, which is slow, annoying, and occasionally prevented me from fully shutting down Firefox - important for a number of reasons - by hanging around unnoticed in the background. Download Statusbar completely resolves the issue. It does need a bit of a manual clearing in order to free up screen real-estate from time to time, but there's no way I'd go back. Right-click functions very comprehensive as well. Great work.
One of the most important innovations in technology Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Whilst it has its occasional glitches - sometimes, the silent-running ABP filters will remove something essential from a display or interface without you noticing - the functionality ABP provides is absolutely essential, and completely seamless. I was absolutely shocked to see the state of the web without it on someone else's system, littered with flashing gifs and useless, attention-grabbing non-content. ABP completely restores the experience and efficiency of the web. Download it now. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (188.8.131.52-signed). Essential kit Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Browsing without ABP feels nightmarish by comparison - this add-on is a real treasure. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.2).
