Great! You got the "firegestures" working again.

Well, almost.
I see the same gesturefy now works in different versions of the FireFox too .

Now only one request (for now?)
So that 'd be PERFECT if I could - somehow -
- "export" the setings of gestures chosen/configured in one profile,
then transfer that to another machine / user profile / whatever,
- and import it again .

i do have a 32bit "ESR" and quantum-64bit version of FF on this machine, an quantum version on another
That one is running macos, so probably some stuff will work differently there too.
( FireIE never worked on Mac, and a FireSafari didn't exist)

Adblock Plus

Works well, gives a feeling of control and safety too Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Of course I *hope* it's more than a feeling :-)

A small concern for today, big concern for "end of 2017" :
Will adBlockPlus be "updated" to the new Firefox Plugin API ? In time?

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.9.1).

2 Pane Bookmarks

Fantastic extension, wish all browsers could do such thing Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I use this a lot, really. Mostly when "bookmarks" are in the side-pane.
I started structuring the bookmarks in folders, and 2Pane just lets me visualise the CONTENT of such folder when only clicking the folder name.
I am a bit worried though, as (newer versions of) FireFox starts labeling this extension as "outdated" (or obsolete?)
warning that in the foreseeable future fireFox will "change the way plugins work"
Will this one be re-written ?
Maybe that's a lot of work ( IANA programmer ) , and maybe it would help to start a kind of fundraiser.
Yes everybody frowns over "paying for something" , but if I'd know how the developer would be needing to "update this to the new structure", I think it'd be worth to have it updated (instead of needing a crash course in FireFox development, analyse what this really does, get a few pals together to organise a re-write : I'm not even sure I have pals who would do it, or who could, let alone do this by myself.

that worry aside (it might just stop working?)
This really IS a good thing to have. Only realised it's real potential quite late, but it is there.

LastPass Password Manager

Went back to 3.x , the one on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Version 3 works. Version 4 ... works on Apple mac +safari, works on same mac + firefox 47.x
But version 4 does NOT work with firefox 47.x on win7

So: fall back to LP 3
Apparently there IS a reason the addon-site doesn't "approve" this version - yet-

The menu bubble was empty after login, and made some "script on this page is still running" comments appear.
Neither continue, nor stop-now would work.

Tab Groups Helper

Great extension, almost perfect Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Of course, back when TGM ( Manager) was still working, I could "open aal bookmarks in this folder to a new group" and the group got the folder name.
It was a single right-click / select menu operation.
Today that operation needs several steps :
1 "create new tab in new group"
2 Copy name of the bookmarks folder I want to "open"
( right-click / Properties / Cmd_C / enter )
3 Select the new tabgroup "id N" , and paste the name
4 rightclick on bookmarks folder and "open all in tabs" ... these tabs are now in the group "bookmarkssubfolder"

Works very well for three groups of related sites : Project_dev / Project_uac / project_prod
TGM let me do this quicker, but the "dea" is still working !

Proxy Selector

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a great plugin.
In a simple muse movement, I can switch between a local proxy A, a local proxy B, or no proxy at all (essentially when taking the machine out of either company or home network)
Too bad that the proxyselector icon seems to hide itself somewhere for now, in FF 29. But 'm confident that either "this will be repaired soon" or that ... I stumble upon the thing where it is hidden. In that case, I hope to remember posting that here.

Which was quite soon. After posting the above lines, I "found it" ... almost in the TOP of FF29's new "more tools" menu. I was so sure had "looked everywhere", so I suppose that just speaking out what went wrong twisted my fingers/eyes/brains enough to go look where it was.
This is a big relief.

Print Edit

GREAT, it SEEMED to be broken, but it DOES support FF 25 ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Yes, this seemed to be brokn when FF updated to version 25. But ... I’m wrong … There are two buttons who aren’t grey, and when I click either one ( "Text Pieces" or "Web style" ) the red boxes come back, and the EDIT buttons are active again. Hey, THAT could better go on the Review page, with 5*****, of course !A GREAT extension, and either it reaired itsel, or that one click on "Text Pieces" repaired it. Either way: it sems NOT to be broken by the firefox update. HH

Print Edit

Easier than HackTheWeb Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Four stars for now: it really IS easier than HackTheWeb (HTW).
Before FF 9 (or so) we had Aardvark. But that stopped working. Then HTW revived it. I mainly use it to "I-solate a block" before actually printing "the part of the page that holds what I need"

For that, Print Edit feels easier.

with HTW it is a multi-step process, and I ca still make the font size bigger right before actually printing. I don't find that option -yet- in Print Edit.
So yes, it is easier to do the bics, but HTW lets you add an extra step. Hence not the "maximum" stars but VERY GOOD

TableTools2 - Copy/Sort/Chart/Filter Table&More!

Follow-up Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I found that TableTools2 suddenly had disappeared.
Turns out that in "synchronizing extensions" between two machines, I had Book Text Mark" extension enabled.
Apparently there is an incompaibility with TT2 not showing up in the context menu any more.
Since I don't need to bookmark "a text within a long page" too often,I disabled BTM and ... TT2 is back.

TableTools2 - Copy/Sort/Chart/Filter Table&More!

VERY useful add-on, THANK YOU Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It doesn't do "a lot" but does right what it needs to do.
Well, my only "anoyance" is when the web presents something "as if it were a table" and the right-click doesn't show TT2
But ... those times I asked the "view source", I noticed these tables weren't coded as "table" but as a bunch of <div> html.
Maybe that is modern html for tables, but it would not sort or filter.
On "java blocks" it seems to ... well, they are blocks, aren't they? As in blocking.
i guess TableTools isn't meant to do that kind of extras.
Maybe I 'll learn to use the "being not there" of TT2 in the context menu as a sign that I'm looking at an "advanced page".
But it is VERY nice on real table stuff, and there is still plenty of that on the web.
Thank you for a GOOD tool
