In Win7 Goto C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\browser\extensions\*email@example.com
delete the @jetpack.xpi you find
Everything else I tried failed but this worked.

Somehow this POS snuck onto my browser...probably a java update that I didn't pay enough attention to...hard to remove. Will use mozbackup on a clean firefox [without the yahoo POS] to redo the infected firefox. Java is the electronic version of a dirty needle...only in this case the infection was intended. Fortunately firefox automatically disables the addon because it's not signed or approved. Still getting rid of it is work.
Nothing works- Ran Ccleaner, did firefox renew, restored backup from an non infected PC using MozBackup..New toolbar is still shown in extension list...disabled because it isn't verified...but I want it gone.
Epic Fail Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Install this to stop pop-ups that aren't blocked by firefox. Opened a website that would likely kick up a pop-up and sure enough there was the pop-up. Only No-script will stop hard to block pop-ups. Can't see much use to have this so uninstalled it.
Problem: Can't get 'Local Folders' back to the top Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Downloaded this to get "local folders" folder back to the top after moving Thunderbird to laptop. All email accounts above local folders except the one that feeds it's inbox. Have tried renaming "Local folders" but no help...still at bottom. If anyone has solved this please reply. Thanks
The developer replied that local folders at the bottom is a Thunderbird standard...I'm sure he knows more than I, but prior to updating Tbird on this laptop, my local folders have always been at the top.
Trafficlight puts 'Share this page' [Social media] in context menu Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Sticking 'Share this page' icon in context menu with no apparent opt in or out is the kind of thing users choose trafficlight to avoid. I searched after the 'Share this page' icon unexpectedly showed up...found mention of trafficlight...disabled trafficlight and it went away. I'll revise this review to 4* if they ditch or option that icon soon. Otherwise, I'll remove Trafficlight from all PC's. This kind of behavior impairs bitdefender's overall reputation...I'm much less likely to choose them for any anti-malware solution after this. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.2.17.1-signed.1-signed). Googlebar replacement - Missing My Local search -Froogle outdated Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Tried this to replace old googlebar which works but has some features impaired in new versions of FF. Like googlebar lite, this lacks a key feature for me..my local search..where I put my address into search preferences and it does a map search for say, "paint stores" in my local area...far more convenient than non-localized map search. Also...froogle is gone...so updating google shopping needed. I'm glad this is offered as an option, but I'm not keeping it at this time. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (22.214.171.124-signed.1-let-fixed).
Googlebar replacement - Missing My Local search Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I'm still using googlebar and it works well but has some impairments with recent FF versions and no real support. Tried googlebar lite and it seems to work ok. What's missing is the googlebar My local search function where the user supplies a default address and the my local button triggers a google map search near that location. Put "paint stores" in search bar, hit my local and it shows paint stores near my address. A plain map search shows 1/3 of the country...far less convenient. Please consider adding such a feature. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (126.96.36.199-signed). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
May link to unsafe sites Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Just popped up a site that McAfee siteadviser warned was not safe. When using this add-on also use sietadvisor and world of trust because PriceBlink apparently doesn't filter out sites that might be a threat.
Update: Based on email reply from Priceblink, It appears that SiteAdvisor kicked up a false positive and Pricelink does filter sites for threats. That said, Pricelink did show a price on a different item...a blade instead of a complete blender. That stuff happens..if the price is way below market, suspect a mismatch. I'll continue to use Priceblink and appreciate the follow-thru.
Icon disappeared Rated 1 out of 5 stars
I had IE Tab original...Added IETab V2. Removed the IE Tab original.icon from upper menu and put the V2 icon up there. Then I removed Original..after restart, both icons were gone. I reinstalled V2, No help. Next I'll delete V2 reinstall original and hope I get an icon. Lot to be said for leaving well enough alone. Win7 Home Prem 64-bit YMMV.
I re-installed IETab+ now have an icon...All's well...
Poor local search Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Tried to replace googlebar [sill works FF 12], With googlebar, I can input my address which is stored in the preferences..works great for localized searches. Googlebar lite has input on a web page...didn't accept my address or any variation despite my being able to find this address in google maps. I applaud this project because googlebar is orphaned, but it would be nice if local search worked the way the original googlebar did with the address stored in the toolbar. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (188.8.131.52-signed).
No Protection seen Rated 1 out of 5 stars
+Not a memory hog as some have suggested
+No conflict with Bitdefender Quickscan
-Doesn't flag risky sites: I searched for software cracks...a search sure to turn up miscreants of all stripes...many sites were indicated high risk by WOT and McAfee Siteadvisor. All were greenlighted by this sleeping watchdog.
Bottom line: Don't depend on this to flag risky sites...use WOT [great] and perhaps Siteadvisor.
Wish bitdefender made this effective while keeping the minimal overhead.
I hope Bitedefender quickscan is more effective, but I'm not going to infect my PC to test it.
Didn't reload unloaded tabs Rated 1 out of 5 stars
In options, I selected that tabs would unload after 10 minutes, then reload immediately when the unloaded tab is selected. When I selected the unloaded tabs, nothing happened...waited, waited...no reload. then If uninstalled BarTab. I'm astonished the reviews are so positive when it apparently doesn't work..I'm running 3.613 on Win XP pro all updated...not exactly an exotic set up. I'll perhaps revisit this if it changes because I like the concept...if it only worked as described.
Turn off blocking for some sites Rated 1 out of 5 stars
A site wasn't working properly..pages linked to dropdown menus wouldn't open or operate properly ...until I turned off ghostery blocking after much trial & error...Whitelisting didn't work. A warning like: "Ghostery may cause some sites not to work properly...if whitelisting doesn't work, turn off blocking." would have saved time griping at site administrator about site defects they didn't cause. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.3.1).
Minor Gripes Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I often slide my mouse cursor over one of the Browser Defender bubbles on a search page...this elicits the pop-up box and it stays on top...quite awhile and there's no consistent way to get it to go away until it decides to. Wish they'd put a 'close' button on the box and/or a setting in options for the number of seconds the box stays visible.
Also, when I do open a risky page...then the box would be nice...the orange bar at the top and change in color isn't enough. WOT and McAfee both open a warning page when I click to open an untrustworthy or risky site...I can then choose to go ahead and open the site or not...usually I choose not. This is a much better system. I replaced Siteadvisor on this PC with BD and want to stay with it but these are changes that need to be made.
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
GREAT ADD-ON: Installed with no problems; 1st scan was 1-2", Next scan about 2 seconds. Plays well with Avast, my regular anti-virus. BitDefender is highly rated for established malware and this should access same signatures in the cloud though it doesn't scan all files...just the running ones. It's an excellent, low overhead, no cost addition to my anti-malware arsenal. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.9.30).

Didn't work in FF 3.015 Tried the test address shown in directions here...got a blank, no map at all. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.1).
