best, no need to search further Rated 5 out of 5 stars
things change, last ad blocker I had was still showing too many ads. This one blocked them all. Now I get a clean article that is pleasant to read. Others I have tried and rejected are No-ads (if 3250), AdBlock Plus, and AdBlock Edge.
Question... Why is this extension not yet approved by Mozilla? The only way to find it is via google search. Doesn't even show in normal add-ons search.
Awesome extension Rated 5 out of 5 stars
5 star and thinking of making a donation.
can side bar fonts be increased via ctrl+.
I have a web page in sidebar, would be cool to be able to select which page to open, eg, rss feed, or other besides the ones in default.
works partially Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Used to be a big Thunderbird user. Now coming back and hoping things work the same. Unfortunately not. Provider works partially by syncing a few calendars in Google, but not my primary calendar. tried everything I could think of and did a search to find solutions but no luck. and don't have any more time to play with it. so, although definitely worth supporting this developer (if it worked), I'm moving on to find a tool that works easily. oh the joys of software..This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.4).
wonderful clean design Rated 5 out of 5 stars
clean, easy to see design that makes working in the browser better. well done Louis.
was good, now , not so much Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Had to stop using No Ads as it was not stopping enough ads on webpages. sorry.
Previous review below.
good to find one that works now.
I was trying to figure out why AdBlock plus and AdBlock edge were not working anymore. I figured advertisers had figured out how to work around them or something, so out of curiosity, I looked at other ad-blocker extensions.
Installed No-Ads, refreshed an ad-heavy web-page and voila. clean reading again.
Thanks Edward, good job.
Thank you, what an excellent extension, just unclear at first from description. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
looked for quite a while to find a toolbar hiding add-on. some worked sort-of but not well. Kinda wish the title let me know more of what this add-on did as i skipped by it several times thinking it was a theme or something. definitely feel like making a donation on this. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (22.214.171.124-signed).
neat. simple text editor for any website Rated 5 out of 5 stars
click icon to start, then begin editing the text on the website. then print, such as to pdf or save it as html full site or archive format. comes in handy for making website revision edits on the fly for review later. not really a website editor, more of a website text reviser.
Good program, if you don't require the search function Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Organizing notes with this add on is nice, tagging is a great feature. unfortunately the search functionality, which I kinda think it essential, does not work. Perhaps in a future rev. giving 5 stars but uninstalling due to lack of search. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.22).
An old favorite add-on slowly becoming unusable Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Update 6/24/14 . installed the update 4.3.2 and syncs are working again. kinda hard to find the update. will keep using and hope bugs are fixed with use on Firefox 30. Hopefully this will restore 5 star status again.
6/2/14 Today I've come to the conclusion that Xmarks is not working as well as I'd like and therefore I must uninstall it.
Over the course of many months I have accepted recurring failure to automatically sync, it works but requires a lot of hand holding to force overwriting local bookmarks. Lately it's creating duplicates even triplicates of saved bookmarks and I have reached a point of distrust that syncing is working or that links I really want are being saved to the cloud.
With the advent of Firefox 29 and auto sync of many things including bookmarks, I see no reason to keep a partially functional app. Good luck to you and hope you get your issues fixed, you've been a great tool while you lasted.
good, but needs a few more features to be useable Rated 3 out of 5 stars
really needs to have most recent messages on top of the threads not on the bottom which requires looking more to read them. good idea, but not quite ready for everyday use. too frustrating. If you want to check out a program that does threading very well, look at Postbox email client. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.7).
good job- FF needed this Rated 5 out of 5 stars
not an essential addon, but a no brainer great feature. Organizing bookmarks can be hard with hundreds of sites and folder trees. This helps me find a related bookmark so I can organize them easier and group them. apparently right clicking on the bookmark in search results shows the folder it's in. wasn't clear at first. Thank you. Now if only this could be incorporated in the default bookmark window such that selecting the bookmark when searched for also shows it's location. that would help, but this addon is the next best thing.
it appears she has done just that and come up with Go Parent Folder add on which reveals the parent folder (by right click and select) within the default bookmarks window. thank you twice. and another add on Show Parent Folder as a column in the search results.
quite good Rated 5 out of 5 stars
have used a few other start page addons and I really like the intuitive and easy setup of this one. quick to add new shortcuts, and a surprise feature which is very useful... groups which can be seen and clicked quickly. thanks for thinking about the end user on this one. much better than the ultra complex and fancy new tab apps.
well done Rated 5 out of 5 stars
just installed and compares nicely to apps like Readability, Instaread might be better, quick, simple to use. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.31.1).
Thank you, well done Rated 5 out of 5 stars
simple and quick restore from those awful toolbar and browser home page and new tab programs installed without my knowledge.
simple, easy the way it should be Rated 5 out of 5 stars
removes the need to have the menu bar showing and the extra space at top of browser. so simple. I like it.
almost perfect- surprisingly high memory use. Rated 5 out of 5 stars
using lastpass for several years and love it. curious as to why Firefox 15 was using so much memory I discovered lastpass increases memory use by 40 to 60+ megabytes. perhaps the highest of my addons. not an issue if you have loads of ram. have to decide if this is a reason to switch to another program or not. still an excellent addon. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.0). great add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars
can't always tell if there will be an add-on for a minor irritation with Firefox, this one does the job. screen real estate is important so why have a quarter inch of unused space on the top of FF window. this little app fixes that by moving the menu bar up into unused space. cool and simple. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (126.96.36.199-signed).
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
works well, tested a few similar extensions and this one was best. good jobThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.7.1.1-signed).
almost good Rated 4 out of 5 stars
but doesn't print some pages. for example. several other "print to pdf" type add-ons print a facebook page. this one does not. it only prints the login screen. also curious that while capturing a page it seems to be accessing do.convertapi.com does this mean the image is sent there first? This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2.1-signed.1-signed).
simple useful- worth trying it out. Rated 4 out of 5 stars
updated review after developer added a better description and instructions (thank you). extension works pretty well and can potentially make organizing of emails better when using sub-folders. it essentially rolls-up emails in certain folders. would love to see it rollup non-smart folders. not sure if it's an essential add-on yet. will keep using it.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.1).
