Ad Killer

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Didnt display any thumbs so no ads could be killed... (Browser: Cyberfox)

Context Search

Very useful! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

A perfect add on for me who mostly uses ixquick but also swedish encyclopedia and wikipedia to gain access directly to facts. A real time saver!

Gmail Notifier

Update 0.6.4 is bad Rated 4 out of 5 stars

After the update today 3 (out of 4)of my gmail accounts are invalid.
The common thing with these are that they have non numerical and alphabetical characters in the passwor ex. #¤%&/(#"

The 4th gmail account that works has only common letters.
*edit* I did a manual update and now gmail notifier works again :) cheers

Tree Style Tab

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

One of my favourite extensions besides Lastpass and firegestures.
Long time ago I bought a IE clone named Irider wich was I believe the first browser that had tabs on the side.
Very intiutive and well thought browser.

But they had a strange philosphy about ads (they wouldnt allow the user to block ads in Irider.

So a little disgrunted I started to look at other browsers and found Firefox with all the extensions could do exactly what Irider did. Including having the tabs where you want them. I want to have them on the right side. They are more accessible and browsing is very fast.

LastPass Password Manager

Simply the best Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Without question the best passwordmanager.
Earlier I used Roboform. Then I decided to learn and use Ubuntu. But Roboform doesnt work on Linux. Roboform was one of the software "i couldnt live without" so I was about to ditch Linux. But I emailed the creators to inquire about if a Linux version. I was amazed when they answered that there is no Linux version in the foreseeable future. Probably never :o

Then I stumbled on Lastpass. It does everything RF does. First I was a bit suspicious about the security. It didnt feel comfortable to have a web based PW manager. But after reading their forum where they explained about their policy and how the privacy works, plus that anyone is free to try to prove that Lastpass isnt secure, I decided that at the end of the day there is no point of being paranoid since any software can be used, even Roboform, if they where evil.

So I decided to trust them. And I am so glad I did. I never have to worry about securing Roboform on usb stick to get to my passwords since I can get to it from any internet connected computer.
It works on any windows and Linux. I only use the firefox extension. Besides Shadow Protect Lastpass is one of the ultimate products.
And it is FREE.
