Redirector

matrix of redirection Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Thanks for this. Please consider creating a comparison matrix for your extension and QuietUrl, amo:5243

The most obvious difference I see is that his supports only regex while yours both that and wildcards.

hopefully this extension will help avoid the annoyance of visiting fastmail.dm when I intend fastmail.fm. Sure I could use keyword (bookmark), and I do, but sometimes my splelling needs help but "awesome"bar does not spell check afaik.

Will this play nicely with NoScript and RequestPolicy?

Will this play nicely with Policy Manager, by Piro, amo:7066?

Certainly this provides a much more appealing alternative than facing the slow, uphill grind of learning JS for GreaseMonkey :)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.2).

The most obvious difference I see is that his supports wildcards and regex while yours only the latter.

Scroogle.org: less "collaboration" all the privacy

Drag & Drop.io

awesoem but ui could use more info Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is the greatest SMALL free file hosting service... but it's better used as email content bin.

however given the ZERO privacy CLARITY of the yahoo webmail "applications" I shall not be using the integrated option there.

the context menu of the status bar icon could do with at least another column for drop expiry date. A column for unique users' hits would be nice, too.

SabnzbdFox

nzbStatus clone? Rated 3 out of 5 stars

How is this an improvement over nzbStatus ?

RequestPolicy

brilliant.. but wildcards needed for sanity Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I'd like to be able to approve *.imageshack.us and *.tinypic.com either outright or in association with certains sites or forums. Since imageshack adds new hosts often it's troubling to add each one at a time. There are other sites like this with similar CDN*.somesite.tld that are as irksome to whitelist. ... not merely to load content but 'allow' redirection

despite these this is a truly excellent security extension that falls into "must have" category for EVERY firefox profile.. even those light on extensions

whitelist from *.there.tld
whitelist from cdn*.why.tld
blacklist such that I never am prompted again, nor shown in blocked menu

something familiar here with this extension

ImageBot

hooray for ImageBot... a few good updates and six stars Rated 5 out of 5 stars

this and 'rehost image' make using imageshack a joy -- ever since the imageshack.us facelift killed dragndrop into form element :(

I am thrilled you have removed the em 'problematic code' :)

Please consider adding multiple image account profiles for easier grouping of images in ONE imageshack account, and for grouping MULTIPLE imageshack accounts... you already employ nice use of tabs

additionally please either support other image hosts directly or

built in a user extensible "extension" system for adding support for other image hosts

Rehost Image is merely that.. transload seen image to imageshack

Imagebot transloads, albeit without the intermediate option to rename, AND keeps a visible copy in the imagebot float (yes, I much prefer the float option)

I wish there was a GUI- or in extension option to export current image list... hacking prefs.js is not my favorite method.. though it is currently the only method... here again the need for profiles (groups) of images

^^ otherwise "exported" lists need to imported to an entirely new firefox profile to keep the image set alive with the occasional browser through to be sure they maintain a hit level. I don't know the minimum imageshack view so I load them in their orphan firefox profile about monthly

I am immedsely DELIGHTED with the CUSTOM copy template options -- this makes it easy to post one or more images to various flavors of forums

The only other lack I see is the need to select an array of images, and have the extension itself or another extension* resize DOWN to whatever inane maximum dimensions of a given draconian forum, and copy the duplicate image(s) code for forum posting

*
as is possible with Shunked Image Resizer
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/11005

Instead of reinventing their wheel I propose your extension interact with their respective extension and 'transload' or upload as needed.

Also please add the facility to imageshack.us hosted image to

+ tag images
+ create imageshack albums

(assumes free imageshack registration)

thank you thank you!!

X-notifier (for Gmail,Hotmail,Yahoo,AOL ...)

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

edit 100306

Since the major version change to 2.x initial bumps and unplesantness this version 2.3.1 has eliminated all trauma with only one tiny GUI deficiency.

Yahoo accounts that have not yet set the two required security checks are essentially ignored. Though one ticks to have them checked the GUI indicated no mail available and will not auto login. One must manually login, set the two security questions and THEN the extension will report mail status and autologin.

I hope there will be a feature to allow one to list an account in the status bar icon context menu to enable autologin BUT NOT automatically check selected accounts for new mail -- only login when I click to login.

^ otherwise it makes it difficult to keep track of who used a shared gmail account last as my address is the only one filling the gmail details log.

prior review
firefox 3 toasts settings

It's been a five star experience until upgrading to firefox3. An accounts export feature would have been nice. I had about three dozen accounts I *get to* add back now :(

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.3.1).

Enhanced Bookmark Search

missed :( Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This would be exceptionally convention in firefox 3. I would prefer to add keywords (tags) to the description instead of overwhelming my now extensive tags list.
